He is already trying to undermine the President by sharing power unnecessarily with the Democrat Obstructionists. When Harry Reid was in charge of the Senate, he tossed out the filibuster rule immediately.
Making our side conform to it when the other side didn't is at best stupid, and at worse traitorous. McConnell needs to go.
Those are the rules the current Senate is observing. Nothing has changed.
Give it time. Let the Senate receive some public pressure. Last I read, sometime in December, that if the vote came to the floor of the Senate, there were 8 republicans that would vote to not change the filibuster. It is more than just McConnell.
He is essentially/effectively a plant for the other side.
Every time an opportunity arises to restore the COTUS in a meaningful way there is someone who betrays us.
Convention of States seems to be the only remedy.

Reid only tossed out the filibuster rule for appellate/Federal district Judges.
Filibuster for legislation and Supreme Court Judges was still intact. In 210 a Republican wave hitt the HOR. Filibuster for legislation remained intact. When Repubs broke the Super Majotrity Reid only ended the filibuster for a appellate/district Judges.
