Justin Trudeau booed at disastrous town hall as polls show lowest approval ever
Breitbart ^ | 01/25/2017 | Frances Martel

A poll released Tuesday found Canadians disenchanted with liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, whose approval ratings have fallen to their lowest since he assumed the nation’s highest office. The Forum Poll™, a public opinion firm, released their numbers while Trudeau was visiting western Calgary. Having called for “phasing out” oil sands from the nation’s economy, Calgarians greeted Trudeau with loud boos and, in some instances, barely managed to let Trudeau answer their barbed questions. Forum found that 48 percent of Canadians approve of the job Trudeau is doing as Prime Minister, the first time his approval has crossed the 50 percent mark. “Those are the worst numbers Forum — or any other pollster — has registered for Trudeau since he became prime minister,” the firm notes.

Our neighbors to the north are watching President Trump and they like what they see. Trudeau could be tossed under the bus in the next election.

Trudeau is still immensely popular in the biggest cities and in Atlantic Canada.

“Trudeau is still immensely popular in the biggest cities and in Atlantic Canada.”

Those people are the enemies of humanity, of Canada, and of God. Sane Canadians should treat them accordingly.

Did you move away before the quiet revolution? Quebec is a nasty piece of work at present. I live about an hour away from the provincial border in Ontario. And people from the GTA do tend to have a very narrow conception of the world that revolves around themselves.

Is there a Canadian version of Trump out there? Maybe Don Cherry.

“But I’ve heard stories (anecdotal, that’s true) that the locals are borderline rude to anyone who can’t speak French on their level.”

It’s really not true, in my experience. But Quebec is a majority french-speaking province, and that’s the way they like it.

Now, Quebec can be rather provincial, and you may run across people who honestly don’t really speak any English, especially in rural areas. Quebecois tend to like it if you don’t just assume that they will speak to you in English, and like many places, if you make the effort to learn a few basic words/phrases in French it will go a long way - words like please, thank you, yes, no, how much? - and use them them. They won’t laugh at you for mangling their language if your “Merci.” doesn’t come out in a perfect Quebecois accent.

That may be. Not every nation has our Constitution. That’s there problem. He said he wants to work with Trump. That fine with me. By the way. I don’t have a problem with Liberals. Leftists. Yes.

Canada originated from the same basics as the US maybe some minor differences. The big downfall was the passing of public healthcare in the 60s and the 1982 charter of rights. The charter is communist.

Yes. Indeed. I just think that we will have a better relationship with Canada with O'Leary than a Pre-Pubescent, Snowflake, Commie man child. 😉

It’s questionable if Pierre was sleeping with Margaret at the time. She was partying around the world, IIRC and jumping into any and every jet-setter and rock-&-roller bed she found.

I don’t care, but I wonder if anyone has created a timeline for the period in question?

No.

Old Pierre and Margaret were married on March 4, 1971,

The Shining Pony was born December 25, 1971 . You can do the math.

Neither Trudeau met Castro until 1976.
