John Fund and Hans von Spakovsky: Why Trump's probe of voter fraud is long overdue
FOX News ^ | January 25, 2017 | By John Fund, Hans A. von Spakovsky

President Trump has announced that his administration will be launching a major investigation of voter fraud, including those who are registered in more than one state, “those who are illegal” and those voters who are dead but still registered. This followed a media firestorm in which the New York Times and others called Trump’s assertion a “lie.”

But just last week, President Obama told a whopper at his last news conference that went almost completely unnoticed, much less criticized.

He promised he would continue to fight voter-ID laws and other measures designed to improve voting integrity. The U.S. is “the only country among advanced democracies that makes it harder to vote,” he claimed.

This is demonstrably false. All industrialized democracies — and most that are not — require voters to prove their identity before voting.

Britain was a holdout, but last month it announced that persistent examples of voter fraud will require officials to see passports or other documentation from voters in areas prone to corruption.

The real problem in our election system is that we don’t really know to what extent President Trump’s claim is true because we have an election system that is based on the honor system. . .

America’s counties voted for Trump despite the urban enclaves that vote 110% Democrat.

Didn’t Obama practically tell ILLEGALS that it’s OK to Vote?? Anyone have that clip or quotation? It was during this election.
VIDEO: OBAMA 'ENCOURAGES ILLEGALS TO VOTE'
Fox anchor erupts: 'You're not a citizen of this country!'
Did Barack Obama just encourage illegal aliens to vote on Election Day, promising no repercussions if they do?

A videotaped interview with the president has some saying yes, sparking outrage among at least one major media figure and commenters on Twitter.

In an interview with the Latin-oriented YouTube channel mitu, millennial actress Gina Rodriguez asked Obama:

“Many of the millennials, Dreamers, undocumented citizens – and I call them citizens because they contribute to this country – are fearful of voting. So if I vote, will Immigration know where I live? Will they come for my family and deport us?”

Obama responded: “Not true, and the reason is, first of all, when you vote, you are a citizen yourself. And there is not a situation where the voting rolls somehow are transferred over and people start investigating, etc. The sanctity of the vote is strictly confidential.”

The president’s answer left Neil Cavuto of the Fox Business Network completely stunned.

“I can’t believe that I heard what I heard,” Cavuto said on his broadcast.

“The president isn’t even questioning whether the person who is an illegal is voting, outside of reminding people that if you’re a citizen, you vote. But it’s very clear that the question that is being asked was about illegals voting and afraid that they might be reported to Border Security. You’re illegal. You cannot vote.”

“The President of the United States is saying, ‘Don’t worry, no one will be spying on you, catching you,'” Cavuto added.

“You’re ignoring the fact that you are being questioned about illegal voting, which you can’t do. Why? Because you’re not a citizen of this country!”

Obama’s remarks were taken the same way by many on Twitter, including Diana Puig, who tweeted, “He’s basically saying to vote even if ur an illegal in this country.”

The clip that aired on Fox, though, did not include Obama’s follow-up remarks, in which the president said, “If you have a family member who maybe is undocumented, then you have an even greater reason to vote.”

“This has been a huge fear presented especially during this election,” Rodriguez noted.

Obama than added: “And the reason that fear is promoted is because they don’t want people voting. People are discouraged from voting and part of what is important for Latino citizens is to make your voice heard, because you’re not just speaking for yourself. You’re speaking for family members, friends, classmates of yours in school… who may not have a voice. Who can’t legally vote. But they’re counting on you to make sure that you have the courage to make your voice heard.”

Both Obama and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton have been opposed to voter ID laws which are designed to make sure only American citizens are able to legally cast a ballot in elections...........

When Democratic Congressmen laugh at Tea Party advocates for thinking one person is valued at one vote, they betray their true thinking regarding voter fraud.

It can’t be hidden when it continues to grow beyond the majority and the kids who partook in the fraud over a generation ago, now run many elements of American life.

Trump and his people ran a very advanced Big Data / data analytics-driven campaign. They probably already know where the bodies are buried on this.

The Left keeps underestimating him.

conspiring to organize voter fraud (like arranging buses for illegal voting) should be a capital offense.

If you look at the German method of voting. There is zero chance of dead votes, multiple voting, or illegal aliens voting. They’ve built enough into the system that each election is 100-percent legit.

Catherine Engelbrecht from “True The Vote” has some great statistics and information Trump’s people need to explore if they already haven’t. I think I read that she’ll be on Martha McCallum’s show this week — maybe tonight.

I get angry when almost all the pundits scoff at the idea that voter fraud is slim to none. Even on Fox they’re laughing about it and that it’s going to be investigated. If we got a handle on fraud, election results would be less nebulous and there wouldn’t be fodder for whining, recounts, etc., after elections.

KILL MOTOR VOTER FRAUD: In Washington State to get the vote all you need to do is "complete a transaction" at any office...this means taking a number to ask for a brochure qualifies at any DMV office. Take a number, ask for a brochure......et voila.....you get to vote.

REALITY CHECK-----MOTOR VOTER BILL SIGNING
Bill Clinton signs motor voter bill of 1993.

The bill's pushers Alinsky radicals, Cloward and Piven, standby.

Everything conman Clinton did in office needs to be reexamined.

REMEMBER THIS?-—Twitter’s Mass Purge of Those Expressing ‘Extremist’ Ideas (BUT ONLY conservative ideas)

Twitter is the electronic Sturmabteilung closing ranks....and it’s on the march. Paving the way to takeover our elections.

Such party loyalty.......the whiff of 1940’s-era Europe assaults the nostrils.

Just like that (snaps fingers), Twitter creates “the Master Race.”

The little paper-hanger would be proud.

The Vote Fraud Problem Is Real And The Fourth Circuit Just Made It Worse
Forbes ^ | August 18, 2016 | George Leef / FR Posted by reaganaut1

Candidate Donald Trump’s recent statement that the upcoming election might be “rigged” set off a firestorm, with many on the left decrying his claim while many of his supporters saying that he was highlighting a serious problem.

I am in neither of those camps, but believe that the nation does face a grave election integrity problem. It goes way back in time and has been worsening in recent years as techniques for manufacturing votes have been sharpened.

Ballot fraud is illegal in all states, but some of them have taken steps intended to prevent it because a) it’s almost impossible to kick out an illegal vote once it has been cast and b) vote fraud is extremely hard to detect and prosecute. A small step in that direction is a law requiring people to show valid picture identification before they’re given a ballot.

Indiana has had such a law since 2005 and its constitutionality was upheld by the Supreme Court in Crawford v. Marion County Election Board in 2008. Indiana’s Secretary of State, Connie Lawson, notes in this article that voter turnout increased after the law’s implementation and that there is no compelling evidence that any voters have been blocked from voting due to the stricter identification requirements. FREEPER'S REALTIME MOTOR VOTER FRAUD REPORT--At a DMV in Washington, speaking English, we had a tough time establishing my wife's 'residency' because they wouldn't take a house contract, my military reserve paperwork listing her address, or vehicle insurance cards with our new address. The adjacent line for Spanish speakers was a long line of 'Oregon' residents; by showing two pieces of mail, getting Washington licenses was no problems. Don't know if latinos were registering to vote, but with Washington's mail-in ballots for everything, fraud is already rampant.

[I get angry when almost all the pundits scoff at the idea that voter fraud is slim to none.]

When the huge controversy arose over the 2000 presidential vote in Florida, a consortium of major news media outfits paid for a study which included a recount of votes in all Florida counties. (The study concluded that Bush won.)

Hopefully Trump's investigation will be thorough. In 2012 there were incidents of Ohio precincts—which decided the election nationally—voting more than 100 percent for Obama. And even though Trump won Michigan more than 30 percent of precincts in Detroit showed ballot stuffing for Hillary.

Yep. I remember watching that lie live, and I said to myself "now why doesn't the fact-check that lie"?

It perfectly illustrates the ongoing and gaping double standard...

My good friend was in the DMV about a month ago, in Oregon. One illegal walked in to get his "id", my friend knew he was illegal as he did not speak one word of english. The illegal was the only one offered a voter registration card after receiving his id. After an hour of waiting my friend did not see one other person offered a voter registration.

Needless to say he had a meltdown in the DMV and called them out on it.

What I can’t understand is why some republicans claim there’s no voter fraud.

“In 2012 there were incidents of Ohio precincts”

In the Knoxville paper recently there was a story about how many fraudulent votes there were in TN — and those are only the ones they know about.
