China reportedly deploys ICBMs near Russia’s border

Beijing has deployed advanced Dongfeng-41 ICBMs in Heilongjiang Province, which borders Russia, according to reports based on images, possibly leaked to coincide with Donald Trump’s inauguration as US president. “Pictures of China's Dongfeng-41 ballistic missile were exposed on Chinese mainland websites,” the Global Times said citing reports in “some Hong Kong and Taiwan media.” Russian news agencies identified one of them as the Apple Daily, a Hong Kong-based tabloid-style resource. “It was revealed that the pictures were taken in Heilongjiang Province. Military analysts believe that this is perhaps the second Dongfeng-41 strategic missile brigade and it should be deployed in northeastern China,” the report in the Chinese daily adds. The Global Times works under the auspices of the People’s Daily, the official newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party, though the former tends to be more controversial.

The missiles moved there would be aimed against the continental USA, not Russia. They going to send one 40 miles into Vladivostok? That’s like aiming your 60 mortar at someone 20 feet away. Pure silliness.

On the other hand, its a great place to aim missiles at the USA. Could threaten our entire country. Its the best location from within China to do that. And it I was Japanese I wouldn’t enjoy it either.

“The closer to the target Russia and a launch over Alaska to the United States gives you more throw weight”

Look at Heilongjiang province, everywhere else in China is closer to everything in Russia that you’d need to hit than that place they moved the ICBMs to. It only makes sense for targeting CONUS.

“Funny how in the original “Red Dawn”, the Chinese were the good guys.”

In TV’s “Jericho” as well.

I’m still having trouble analyzing this situation though. Russia and China are great allies. I don’t see how the US is risking this relationship.

It’s a complex issue. Everything seems to be up for negotiation. But we are in a much better place now than under a socialist/communist Clinton dictatorship. That is for sure.

China is ready to flex their muscles. But they are over reaching in my opinion.

If they are truly intercontinental why do you need to move them close to anything?

Lower response time...esp. if they can shoot it at a lower angle.

They sound like Pershing tactical nukes more than ICBM’s. Driving a wedge between Russia and China is in our interest. China is the primary aggressor in the world at this time.

My opinion exactly. Put them close to Russia and WE will be reluctant to attack them.

China is our primary global economic and military enemy.

China is ready to flex their muscles, but only because they are flexing their muscles already with their One China model.

China can, and will, push around the other asian countries. Asian countries and cultures respond that way. But look at how China tries to bully Australia - Australia doesn’t give them even an inch.

A conflict with the US (And not a military conflict, just some saber rattling) with a Trump US will be Australia times 100. And with the people of the US behind Trump, I think we’re ready to take Chinese actions seriously. When we see US factories being built, people keeping their own money and the ability to afford US made products - the parting of ways from cheap chinese crap, made by fundamentally slave labor, will be much, much easier.

I hope to see a complete paradigm change in the next 4 years. Expect that the names you hear everyday today will be distant history in 4 years. Walmart, New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, Sears / Kmart (Already going) and will be replaced by an American-owned, operated and founded replacements.

Even expect an end to Chinese sympathizers like Google and Facebook. They will be replaced by home-grown American systems and products that, well.. quite frankly... “Put America First”

TRUE & TRUE...............better to stand up to Communist China now, than whimper to them after another lefty traitor eventually becomes President.

“Interesting. China is in the ‘globalists’ camp... hadn’t thought of it in those terms...”

The Communist Chinese are the designated dominate power to take over after America is fully emasculated......Hillary would have completed the transfer of global military dominance.

Exactly. Not only could it, the move does indeed put the entire US within range of these missiles. As for Japan, the move places Japan under fallout clouds resulting from nuclear attacks to these missile launch sites.

China is last great hope of the globalists, as reported at Davos.
