President Trump has nominated his new CIA chief, Mike Pompeo. An evangelical Christian, Pompeo is a well-respected figure in the national security community. He is also an army veteran, and a staunch pro-life advocate.
Two years ago, Pompeo gave a Church speech where he said Muslims who think Islam is “the only way” needed to be dealt with. “This threat to America is from people who deeply believe that Islam is the way and the light and the only answer,” Pompeo told the church-goers, according to Press TV.
“These folks believe that it is religiously driven for them to wipe Christians from the face of the earth,” he added. “They abhor Christians,” he said of a small minority among Muslims.
Pompeo passionately urged believers to “pray and stand and fight and make sure that we know that Jesus Christ is our savior and is truly the only solution for our world.”

Back in late summer 2015, my only concern was that Trump seemed to be Biblically illiterate, not understanding the Gospel.
In practice, he is shaming everyone.
Truly amazing; far more conservative positions than we could have ever hoped for from the Paul Ryan/Jeb/Kasich Uniparty lawyer fakirs.
The Obama family is remaining in Washington after they move out of the White House, renting a home in the Kalorama neighborhood here. The family is staying in Washington until Sasha, 15, a sophomore at the private Sidwell Friends school here, graduates from high school.
So while Obama and first lady Michelle are locating their Obama Center, a library and museum complex, in Jackson Park on Chicago’s South Side, Obama’s taxpayer funded office, for now at least, will also remain in Washington.
The Washington Post reported that Obama is renting space in a building owned by an environmental group, the World Wildlife Fund, at 1250 24th St. NW, not far from the Kalorama residence.
First lady Michelle Obama will also open an office in D.C., likely sharing space with her husband.

So awesome that he has been confirmed or else the TOLERANT people would have surely used his religious liberty and right to free speech against him.
He speaks the truth.
The CIA director is not a dictator, nor are Christians commanded to effect God’s will in the affairs of man, but in their own affairs. This results in wisdom. Wisdom is in short supply in leadership. Relativism and an Anything-But-Jesus worldview are aplenty.

It has to be. As long as Americans keep praying, they will be protected.
It’s not for the leader of the Republic to determine God’s will.

Why not? Isn’t it everyone’s responsibility to determine God’s will to the best of one’s ability? Are you implying there are only some people who should seek to determine God’s will? Which people would they be? Or, are you implying that no one should seek to determine God’s will? I must say I’ve never before heard any believer refute the contention that it is every person’s DUTY to seek to determine God’s will. Atheists of course would be the exception.
Okay, I meant God’s will for the rest of the nation.
