Steinmeier, 60, has emerged in recent months as the German government’s most strident detractor of Trump. […]

But Steinmeier said he would seek dialogue with the Trump administration and outline “our position, our values and our interests.” …

This antipathy towards Trump seems to go deeper than just ideological difference.

As far as I’m concerned, it will be a thousand year reign before the Germans achieve any moral standing.

You bet. It is spiritual warfare.

If German interests are to take in another million male muslims from the Middle East and Africa, and to suppress the discontent and fear of their own people at losing their culture and freedoms - so be it

But as Trump said, don’t expect us to pay to defend your borders if you won’t defend them yourself,

or if we are criticized for defending our own

outline “our position, our values and our interests.”

Demonstrating that we have achieved a new Germany and parted ways from our deplorable past by turning the Palatinate over to Sharia law.

As an American, I am really looking forward to a stern lecture on values by our post-Christian,self-absorbed brethren in Germany.

You can turn on state-run/public-TV news in Germany every single night now...since the election, and there’s a minimum of 10 minutes of slant-Trump topics going on between the two major networks. The political geeks and intellectual crowd will quote that over and over. This continued “mundpropaganda” (propaganda by mouth) drives this whole German agenda now.

Go bring up the BMW car tax topic, and just mention to a German that it’s BMW-Mexico that has the tariff problem that might come up....not BMW-Germany. They have no understanding of the two divisions.

We already know the German position -- total surrender to Islam.

In the early '40s they murdered millions of productive, educated, law-abiding people, and decades later they welcomed in millions of unproductive, unskilled, violent cultists with open arms.

German values are quite clear by now, Herr Steinmeier.

It’s a safer world if the Germans are scared of the American President. The Germans twice tried to conquer Europe via war. Now it’s trying to do so via the EU.

He said he was "certain to find interlocutors in Washington who know that big countries also needs partners."

Partners in what? Certain of us would just as soon not be accomplices to the crime that is globalism, nor share the responsibility for what the mandarins at the EU are doing both to Europe and to the world. The precepts that placed that ruling class in position are going to be challenged, and they need to be. A partner won't do that, but a friend will.

>>Germany’s foreign minister on Sunday predicted turbulent times ahead for the world following Donald Trump’s accession to power in the United States.<<

People will be demanding their freedom and their voices be heard.

Can’t have that in today’s Utopian EU fascism.

I hope Trump moves our troops out of Germany and into someplace like Poland or Hungary.

President Trump tells these Doucheland pilot fish they can plan on spending more on their own defense and less on muslims, and they start getting wild-eyed again.
He may have to use his strong Zuhalter hand on the Huns.

Go to You Tube and watch how Nigel Farage speaks to the EU! Makes you feel good. Very Trumpish.

After eight years of kicking America around without any concern about backlash, there is a new sheriff in town and the Euro-Weenies have to be careful.

We are just not being “European” enough!
