Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell predicted Sunday that Republicans in his chamber would confirm all of President Trump's remaining Cabinet nominees, even though the GOP has struggled to overcome Democratic roadblocks and confirmed only two nominees so far.

"McConnell said the replacement plan currently under consideration by Republican leaders and Trump's policy team would include an expansion of health savings accounts, high-risk pools at the state level to accommodate people with pre-existing conditions, and provisions allowing insurance companies to sell plans across state lines."

Unimpeded insurance coverage offerings should be a priority. The objection to it are because of “NIRB” graft and greed laws, regulations and rules among the states and unions.

I’m sorry, Senator McConnell, but being “optimistic” is NOT good enough.

How about declaring a “Recess”, so President Trump can “Recess-Appoint” his nominees, which will allow them to get to work on the people’s business?

Continue the so-called “hearings”, of course, but WITHOUT cameras. I predict the preening Democrats will immediately lose interest in playing their obstructionist games without an audience.

And then hold votes that will allow THIS Senate to confirm the nominees.
