POLICE are chasing a rogue car which has driven erratically through the Melbourne CBD.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed paramedics had reports multiple people had been hit by a car.

A number of unmarked Police cars and a police helicopter have been deployed in the chase.

Paramedics are still unsure how many pedestrians had been hit.

Emergency services were flooded with calls about 1.30pm.

You are right that many times there is nothing an adult can do to protect themselves and they are just as helpless as the baby they are holding.

Still the killing of a baby or pregnant female strikes at the very heart of why we formed civilization. It is not necessarily logical and most people could not tell you why they morn for the 3000 that died on 9/11 but will still tear up when they hear that one of the women who died had just learned that she was pregnant.

It is part of being civilized.

And while I would not disagree that the MSM tries to downplay the attacks bringing up the death of children would not be an intelligent way to do it.
