I have thought about it. I'm not sure there's a downside for the good guys (us) if hillary is pardoned. Any trial would be a side show used to rally hillaristas and detract from DJT. Then there's always the risk that she'd expire while being on trial and we'd be blamed for that, and she'd end up being a martyr.

If she's pardoned, we can frame it as confirmation of all of her very bad behavior.

The MSM will praise Obama if he pardons Hillary and her staff. They will point to Trump’s rejoinder during the debates that she would be in jail if he were President. Although Sessions said he would recuse himself, there is still Comey whom Hillary and the Dems blame along with the Russians for her loss.

Re Obama’s legacy: A Hillary investigation may implicate Obama as well. IMO the chances of an Obama pardon are better than 50-50.

A pardon won't help Hillary with:

State or local crimes

Crimes against foreign citizens (think Haiti and Colombia Clinton Foundation ripoffs, just for starters)

Civil litigation from anyone harmed by her home-brew server leaks

Families of anyone molested by the Clinton gang/Clinton foundation child or other sex trafficking

Hopefully Hillary will be hounded by civil and criminal litigation for the rest of her days--pardon or no pardon.
