After all, Guantanamo Bay could still be given back to Cuba in these few remaining hours, if somehow the remaining Islamic prisoners there could be hustled off the grounds. I know that has been a thorn in the Current Occupant’s side since he was old enough to read about how the US came to have the lease on Gitmo (a deal put through with the freeing of Cuba from Spanish rule), and it has been of immeasurable value to the US ever since.
