The Flatiron Building stands at Fifth Avenue & 23rd Street. "23 Skidoo" originated there. Gentlemen would gather in one of New York's early canyons to watch the wind whip up the skirts of ladies passing by. The NYC cops would warn the lechers to "23 Skidoo," else they would get busted.
21 – 21 Club, of course / 21 West 52nd Street.
