she asked to take a lie detector test, it was administered by someone she claims is an “experienced” and “recognized” polygrapher, and she passed.

First:polygraphs are unscientific.

Second:the woman just might be mentally ill and,as a result,truly believes that something that didn't happen did happen.(It can happen)

Third:it's my understanding that polygraphs can easily be "fooled" if the person being tested knows that they're in no danger.If this woman's lying she doesn't get money.End of story.

I think so, too. Never had one but seems like they’re too attached to emotional effects.

Besides, Jerry Seinfeld beat one.
