They cannot spend US funds unless appropriated by Congress.
Appropriating funds is the job of the Congress and Senate, both controlled by Republican majorities Why did they set up a situation that presumably gave Obama discretionary authority to throw away $500 million? How about they pass legislation forbidding any such payment, for Trump’s signature on the afternoon of Jan 20?
AND just where did the money come from, MR. Ryan?

The main reason that there are no consequences to ignoring the laws is the following imo.
With all due respect to mom & pop, for many generations parents have not been making sure that their children are being taught the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers as the Founding State had intended for those powers to be understood.
So sadly, citizens don’t even know that the corrupt feds are breaking the law and the corrupt Washington cartel probably knows this and is exploiting the situation.
