Where’s my wide spectrum jammer when I need it? It’d look like the energizer bunny ad with them all dropping like rocks. ;-)

The total flight time for these things can’t be very long.

The minute I saw the headline and first sentences, I thought of Skynet becoming self-aware, too. Classic.

Could they fly a thousand miles and then drop a couple 1000 lb bombs on something? No? Then who cares?

This is the future of warfare.
1) Get them to swarm - DONE.

Makes you wonder if drone swarms is what John saw when writing Revelations. The only thing he could relate the scene to would be swarms of locust.

Mid air recharging, solar power, juicing up from nearby power lines, hanging around in the belly of the mother ship until needed. Lots of possibilities. We live in interesting times.

Get them to swarm ...
Next, transition the concept to something larger.
