Donald Trump may have a point about paid protesters: Job ads running in more than 20 cities offer $2,500 per month for agitators to demonstrate at this week’s presidential inauguration events.

Demand Protest, a San Francisco company that bills itself as the “largest private grassroots support organization in the United States,” posted identical ads Jan. 12 in multiple cities on Backpage.com seeking “operatives.”

“Get paid fighting against Trump!” says the ad.

Sounds like a good opportunity for any unemployed FReepers in that area.

They are pathetic. Of course some are going to take the job for the money - we’re capitalists! But, it is sad that the communists/leftists have to pay people to do their dirty work.

I thought incitement to violence was a crime and not covered by the First Amendment.

This all sounds like a great opportunity for available FReepers to raise money for the website while displacing actual n’er-do-wells.

This is going too far. It is an indicator of the level of panic on the left. This is the type of thing that Obama himself started out doing as an organizer/agitator.

Insurrection? Incitement to riot?

It sure is.

A retainer plus a $50/hr “living wage” for combat time.

If it’s real—remember when unions were hiring non-union sign bearers for minimum wage?

Boy. This is a bit overwrought. It is a joke. An 'incitement to laugh' perhaps. #FirstAmendment

Follow the money and charge the perps with anarchy. Prison time for all involved is warranted, IMO.

I sure hope there are stockades in DC set up for law enforcement and military personnel to throw these garbage in as they’re arrested on the spot. Photo them and charge them with inciting violence.

You're just trying to limit the number of applicants so you have a better chance at the money.

I also want lodging, meals and per diem at D.C. Inauguration rates.

Preferred hotels:

1. Trump Old Post Office
2. Mandarin Oriental

I hope that the FBI and all local Law enforcement are identifying all the sources of those ads and the people behind them.... Soros, Hillary the black dude with a mouth (yes, all of them) and plan to prosecute ANYONE who shows up in DC with masks or covered faces and deadly weapons, including bricks, cobblestones, newspaper racks, firearms, clubs, teargas and anything else never considered. Shoot to kill would NOT be an overreaction.

These thugs are determined to use intimidation, hate, murder, arson and mayhem to express their first Amendment "rights."

That hood attitude doesn't deserve 5 seconds or debate.

The potential peaceful victims also have First Amendment rights, too, and take precedence over the thug cultures of all colors. I certainly believe that they must respond with equal violence to put Hillary and Soros on notice.

Enough is enough!

Some lives don't matter.
Never have!

If I were 40 years younger I would fight against these thugs for free!

If I were closer to DC I would do it even if I were 100! I could help reload really fast if it came to that.
