I hope that one of the key points that Trump makes in his Inauguration Speech is his determination to reverse the decline in America's inner cities that began about 50 years ago.I hope he points out that Detroit was one of the most prosperous cities on earth in 1965 and he wants to return it,and other cities,to that prosperity.

"I call on all men and women of good will to help me in that endeavor" would be an outstanding applause line,IMO.

It is more than Hatred. It is Fear. Fear that Trump may be able to take a big slice out of the Black Vote during his term in office. If the democrats are unable to hold together their solid Black vote, they know as a party they will be in permanent minority status. Therefore, what is going on now is a fight for the democrat Party Survival and they will do and say anything to hold their Black coalition together.
