As Congressman John Lewis - a prominent civil rights era figure - continues to shun the president-elect (for his illegitimacy), it appears none other than Martin Luther King Jr.'s son is willing to give him a chance. Trump's incoming press secretary, Sean Spicer, announced via Twitter that the two will meet and discuss the civil rights leader's legacy.
John Lewis remains indignant to facts and the US constitution...
But Martin Luther King Jr.'s son appears willing to cross the chasm of propaganda and discuss his father's civil rights' legacy...
As ABC reports, senior transition sources initially said Trump would visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., today. But ABC later learned that the the visit was removed from his calendar due to scheduling issues and was not fully planned out. Spicer said today that the president-elect was never planning to go to the museum today.

Three things whose success Lewis had very little to nothing to do with.
And further, I’m fairly certain Lewis’ Congressional District would be the one with the highest crime rates in GA. But no one in the media is willing to take a look at the facts, they just point out irrelevancies like the three you posted, that the media is using for talking points.
Trump was not referring to successful ventures built and sustained by whitey. Trump was referring to the crime infested, boarded-up ‘hoods known as Vine City, English Avenue, Summerhill, Bankhead Highway (now Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway), etc.
I think there is still a rift in the family. Not sure if he is on the outs or what.
MLKIII had about as a ringing endorsement of Trump as possible. Great news.
Lewis is a broken down Democrat hack ... also a broken record that says “The President is not legitimate” every time a Republican wins the White House. Being an “icon” for the black man, this “icon” is keeping the black man from ever walking upright out of the ghetto. He has maintained his personal Atlanta Ghetto for years successfully. It is still a Ghetto, it has not changed. “Talk” won’t make it change. The blacks don’t need to worry about white slave owners when they have a black guy like this running the plantation.
I know exactly what Trump meant. It's the biased MSM that tried to imply everything in Lewis's district was just fine and great. Liars!

I agree! When they apply, they will request ID cards for their deceased fathers/mothers, and their dog, Bob. The people at the voting polls will accept them. I’ve had some strange experiences at the voting polls for years. All the time wondering if my vote counted or how many times someone else did.
Yes, she is. She was on Fox & Friends this a.m. On my phone right now and can’t post the link but if you go to their site for videos you can see it - she did a good job and said she voted for Trump.
I’ve always been impressed by her. I’d like to sit down with her over coffee, I bet she’d have some fascinating stories to tell.......;)
