As Congressman John Lewis - a prominent civil rights era figure - continues to shun the president-elect (for his illegitimacy), it appears none other than Martin Luther King Jr.'s son is willing to give him a chance. Trump's incoming press secretary, Sean Spicer, announced via Twitter that the two will meet and discuss the civil rights leader's legacy.
John Lewis remains indignant to facts and the US constitution...
But Martin Luther King Jr.'s son appears willing to cross the chasm of propaganda and discuss his father's civil rights' legacy...
As ABC reports, senior transition sources initially said Trump would visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., today. But ABC later learned that the the visit was removed from his calendar due to scheduling issues and was not fully planned out. Spicer said today that the president-elect was never planning to go to the museum today.

CBS this morning, reporting on Trump’s tweet on Lewis’s inner city, showed three examples of “decay” in his district - Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, the CDC, and a renowned technological school. Prime example of liberal media bias. Not unexpected, but still despicable. Grrr...

I do wish Trump’s staff would stop announcing meetings or scheduled appearances in advance, and later having to retract or claim the announcement was incorrect.
Just go and do, and announce results after.
Political Correctness has allowed Lewis to think he is a Black roll model/icon. Martin Luther King, III, has to good sense to lead for America and not for self as Lewis does.

I've watched them from their beginning and I'm happy to say when I see the ladies I DO NOT SEE COLOR... I HEAR an American POV.
They've done a tremendous amount of good on behalf of BOTH Trump and race relations.

MLK’s son is being interviewed by CNN right now in the lobby of Trump Tower. One of the things they discussed is “civil rights and the right to vote. It is very clear that the system is not working at its maximum. We addressed a broken voting system. We provided at least a solution that at least we’ll give everyone an ID.”
The SON of the Civil Rights Leader Dr. Martin Luther King will meet with President Trump......that’s the ONLY thing that matters......the ONLY thing!! Lewis and his band of bytchers can go pound sand!
How do these poor blacks cash their welfare checks, or qualify for benefits without photo ID?
The ID excuse needs to be removed from these whiners. They suffer nothing more and nothing less just because they have no driver’s license.
Am I missing something? Will some of them pass around their “ID” to others for voting multiple times? I dunno. I don’t understand it.
