"... have to stand alone without the United States once Donald Trump enters office..."

Maybe if some of them read what Trump actually said, and listen closely to what the man actually said, this fear mongering being put out would have no basis. Obama did do the wrong thing by throwing Israel off/under the bus and Ms. Power should have taken a powder before she let her boss make such a fool of America and himself.

The barking, nipping pack of poodles just got kicked by a man. LOL! It looks like European leaders’ stupid verbal attacks and condescension towards Trump wasn’t the best tactic after all.

Stupid Europeans writing checks their countries cannot cash.

I posted, I think pretty clearly above, what Trump actually said and meant. See post 5.

The Europeans need to ask themselves, “When the sh*t hits the fan, don I want to be an ally of the US led by Trump or Germany led by “MUTTi” Merkel?”

Europe has no business trash-talking the U.S.A. after they opened the flood gates, letting millions of muslims over run their countries.

I’m starting to understand Trump. He’s doing this to get them talking. Then he sits down at the table with them and gets them to agree to significant changes, like paying their own way. He will not try to do away with NATO. Believe me.

Buy his book “Great Again.”

Possibly with some help from Putin...

Czech Defense Minister: "Russia is Orchestrating Muslim Invasion of Europe"

Posted By: TRT NEWS October 31, 2015

Prague, Czech Republic - Russia is orchestrating, coordinating, and funding the ongoing invasion of European countries by Muslim, military-age males, the Czech Defense Minister shared with IDNES.cz on October 10th, 2015.

According to Martin Stropnicky, the Defense Minister for the Czech Republic, he was informed by the Hungarian Defense Minister Istvan Simicsko that Russia was financing the busing of military-age Islamic males across the borders of the Balkan nations.

-snip-

Speculation has been rife for some time now that Russian forces have been plotting a ground invasion to retake the former satellite states of the Soviet Union, and eventually capturing the European capitals.

The overwhelming of these nations' borders, social services, and law enforcement mechanisms would destabilize and weaken the internal security controls when Russian military units would make their move.

"The Russian Federation does not desire a unified and cohesive European Union," Stropnicky said in the interview. "I do not envision the current invasion ceasing anytime soon."

As the Russian Federation has modernized its military forces and transformed its military theory to a hybrid combination of special forces, infantry, and airpower, it has made impressive advances in its latest generation tank and fighter jet, both of which purportedly claim to be superior to American counterparts. ..."

Europe’s greatest enemy is Islamic migration and subsequent rising terrorism. What is the EU doing? Demanding more of such. Until the EU and NATO pivot to face the real enemy, they are increasingly irrelevant.

——Europe’s greatest enemy is Islamic migration———

Think of the already millions of jihadis welcomed into NATO countries and in proximity to US supplied NATO arms and weapons stockpiles. Don’t even worry about the nuclear component, the conventional weapons access these jihadis can have fast access to rival the WW2 German juggernaut that decimated countless countries in a matter of days and weeks. Then consider the EU beta male response to the jihadis and their crimewaves and the EU males non-response and hiding out lest they offend their muzzie guests. They need no trojan horse to conquer Europe, they were invited in en masse.

Trump offered mixed messages about NATO, saying that he had called it “obsolete” in the past and calling it “very unfair to the United States” that most nations were not meeting their voluntary defense spending commitments. “With that being said, NATO is very important to me,” Trump said.

Looks like Trump still wants NATO, but wants to reduce our NATO spending.

Sorry anti-NATO folks, Trump's position sounds about right.

Western Europe has only been relevant since the end of WWI primarily due to US support. Most European countries are run like a large corporation experiencing a chapter 11 bankruptcy. Those in charge simply wish to ride the roller coaster til they retire.

Exactly. The media is freaking out like this is so outrageous. Trump is nudging the Europeans to do what they should have done a long time ago. Time to take off the training wheels. It’s only been, what 100 years since we started sending troops there to fix their problems? Time for baby to grow up.

If paying their fair share = standing alone, because they don’t want to do that, then so be it.

He also said he was committed to European defense even as he expressed skepticism about NATO’s current configuration.

At what point did this become a "hard-line" position? When member states find, as Germany has, that they need to double their defense commitments in terms of GNP to come up to the minimum standard set by the existing treaty, there's a problem, and there's been a problem for a very long time.

First, a reconsideration of NATO's role, and a look at the map. Last I saw Turkey does not reside in the Northern Atlantic; nor, for that matter, does Greece. When NATO expanded into that arena it managed to take on a huge range of commitments with very little discernible increase in contribution. And if NATO's purpose is the integrity of western Europe and it doesn't recognize that there is an invasion going on at the moment, that calls into question whether the membership even recognizes what the issue is. Surely under these conditions a call for reconsideration is not exactly a radical position. This arena is begging for a fresh set of priorities.

What that may take to push into action is the question. The EU is a major player in every geopolitical sense, or so we are repeatedly told: economic, cultural, political, but its member governments, and, if we are to believe the international media, its member citizens, cannot appear to muster the determination for their own defense, much less the funding. Perhaps it's time for something new.

Why would these Europeans come to Merkel for protections?
....................................................
German soldiers are confined to peacekeeping only. They cannot take part in firefights, so why indeed would ANYONE depend on Germany for protection?

Make that an Organization of Christian English Speaking Countries.
.........................................................
That’s a bit of a stretch. ALL countries now are english-speaking countries if they are involved in commerce as ENGLISH is the LANGUAGE OF COMMERCE. It has become the international business language and is widely spoken in all developed and developing countries..
