Need more evidence of the rampant political polarization thats tearing at the fabric of America?
Yeah, we didnt either, but here it is anyway.
A tribute to deceased former 3 Doors Down guitarist Matt Roberts was besieged by critics of the group on Friday, following news that the group will perform at Donald Trumps inauguration.
The tribute was posted Wednesday to commemorate what would have been Roberts 39th birthday.
Tuesday was your birthday. You wouldve been 39 years old. To even try to remember all the things we experienced together more than most will ever see. Good times, bad times ..always my brother. Rest easy, the group posted to Instagram this week.

A lovely sentiment and one that was drowned out by partisan bile on Friday.

You have to ask who raised these people. No manners, no class, just a bunch of children throwing a massive temper tantrum.
Their parents ought to be ashamed
The tolerant left again.
What is left to be said. We are up against something so grotesque it is difficult to look at.
I SAID last month...3 Doors Down, KISS, Alice Cooper, The Killers...any of them would play!
I LOVE 3 Doors Down! GOOD FOR THEM!!
So many liberals are intolerant nazis.
Who raised these people? In so many cases, it wasn’t a mother and father. In many, these children were indoctrinated in our tax payer supported schools.
This is what 8 years of jug ears has given us. I’m not sure I live in America anymore. This is what the left calls “McCarthyism”.
Let’s look at it in a POSITIVE way.
Though they’re good old southern boys, they’re certainly not country singers. They’re all rock n roll and they’re willing to take the financial hit of boycotts to play.
Country singers won’t lose their audience. These guys could lose quite a few.
Bravo!! I hope they play Superman, Here Without You and Love Me When I’m Gone (they did a video tribute to the troops with this song)
What bothers me is that these are the same people who demanded safe spaces and crayons yet the show no compassion to a respectful rememberance of a lost friend. Like a troop of baboons they just throw feces everywhere
The Trump detractors couldn’t possibly keep it classy. You can’t show class when you don’t posses any.
I never heard of 3 Doors Down.

The biggest rock group of the 2000’s? Really?

They’re blinded by their own hypocrisy. Truth is that they’re such hypocrites that they don’t care.
How many times have I preached this on FR?? We CANNOT CO-EXISt with libtards!! But noo, I get lectured all the time to check my hate. F them. I pray for their destruction every night.
And actually they’re from Mobile AL....and we’re proud of them!!!!! So glad they’re playing the Inauguration.....
Never heard of Three Doors Down?
well, I know my 84 year old mother wouldn’t know them.
But I love them! :)
I still watch the New Rock station to see if anything good is out. I’ve found some that I like.
LOOKING FORWARD TO THEM PLAYING!!
BTW, my father was a great guy, fought in WWI, great father and husband, but he could NEVER ADMIT that the Beatles wrote Michelle.
He was born in 1920 and HATED rock n roll as the downfall of America :)
A buddy of mine was a bouncer at their club dates before they became famous. They’re from the Biloxi, Mississippi area.
