Former Presbyterian minister Jomo Johnson wrote The Gospel: King Trump Version, a satirical version of the Bible that replaces Jesus with Trump, reports the Christian Post. Johnson also helped start a local Black Lives Matter chapter in Savannah, Ga.
The book, independently published through Amazon, is meant to indict Christians who stood with Trump during the election.
What this Gospel does is the same thing Christian Trump supporters did during the election: take Jesus out in order to put Trump in, the description reads.

Oh God, I told People to most blacks Obama is black Jesus. Despite his record of destruction they see no wrong.
On periscope after the Obama worship me speech, tons of black folks looking to imortalize Obama’s run as Pres. to Che’s worship level.
Blind, as long as he is black they are happily blind.
Someone needs to do a Barack Hussein Obama Koran.
The third one dunked. :)
They’re particularly incensed by Trump because his story actually does have positive salvational attributes written upon it.
And we have a hint from Isaiah 53:9b. He was with a rich man in His death.
Let’s take that ball and run with it, rather than bristling at it. We could teach those folks some real bible lessons in the condescension of God to our honest acknowledgment of need. And it IS a condescension on Trump’s part too! He could have kept comfortably building up his empire. He’s just sacrificed his life as far as time and fortune is concerned even if he does not get physically attacked. He is no spring chicken; he could die in office rather than as a chief of an opulent empire that belongs to him.
Aw, you’re tugging at our heartstrings.
And let me guess WHICH lying, thieving scumbag with cankles he thought we should vote for?
LOL!
We have a parish social on Saturday: I’ll have to try that on someone!
I wonder if this yahoo idiot knows they is a dire warning to those that change God’s word...
PCUSA — went PC long ago.
It has the curse of bad theology. Write the Jews’ modern story out of it, and watch yourself go theologically south. And doubly so if you personally have to be the super stars of your story. This has not happened to Southern Baptists, for the most part. Jews who do not understand Jesus due to ignorance and unbelief are waiting to SEE their Savior — they are not WITHOUT their Savior. A crucial difference.
Donald Trump is oldline Presbyterian. I think he isn’t religious, despite the audacity of his vision which shows all the hallmarks of a divine inspiration with remarkable parallels to Jesus’ story (perhaps this will open up an era that ends with Jesus’ return!) because, frankly, the Presbyterian church never was “big” enough to hold it. It would be a challenge even for most, if not all, Southern Baptist churches to hold it. Perhaps charismatic might be another approach, but again they are satisfied with flying way too low.
Bet he wont do a queeranus subbing muslim for jew and infidel.
Maybe they can read the parts again in the Bible where God uses some of the most imperfect people as tools to His end.
Being rich and productive isn’t a bad thing. It’s not like he doesn’t work 14 hours 6-7 days a week to get there.
Until others are all working as hard as he does they probably have zero business pushing rich man negatives at people.
For all we know, maybe far more are cursed who refuse to work full time and instead attempt to live off of others.

Ole Rev'n Homo doan' no fo sho. If he ever heard the word "Jesus" before this, it was pronounced "Hay-soos."
I have to confess that it is not original. I believe my Grandpa first told it to me but glad you like it.
New to me.
God is more flexible than most people give Him credit for, since He looks at souls, and not just where they are, but where they could tend.
For some it’s enough when Jesus says it is as hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven as it is for a camel to walk through the eye of a needle. If you aren’t “poor” by someone’s sliding scale (is a penny rich, to some people?) then you don’t qualify.
Happily, scripture interprets scripture. Jesus also said that blessed are the poor IN SPIRIT. Jesus spoke in spiritual metaphor many a time. If you have a billion dollars but know that they won’t suffice to buy you heaven, then you are poor enough to enter the kingdom of heaven. In the case of the rich young ruler, Jesus proposed to prove that by having the ruler give away his physical wealth. He still viewed that as his substance, and refused. However a more honest approach of the rich young ruler, if driven by ignorance and unbelief, would have been to ask Jesus how that could be; and he would have gotten an intelligent, respectful answer based on the methodology we have already seen from Jesus. Something, possibly, like “I am your riches.” That’s just not how that particular story panned out. Zaccheus became eager to repay anyone who thought he had cheated them, and he was doubtless aware of many.
Donald Trump just laid billions of dollars down (he has to in the American system, for integrity’s sake) and has become a humble steward, and invited others who are laying fortunes down to become humble stewards too. I’d say that qualifies by the Jesus criterion. Those people who are so proud of being “poor” (welfare cases, not super desperate) are still too “rich in spirit” to let Jesus into their souls.
They already have, it’s the one that ISIS is living by today...
Does it include the phrase ,”Blessed are the Peacemakers?,” “Thou shalt not kill,” and with the Michael Brown incident in mind, “Thou shalt not steal?” and with his buddy in mind who said,” Hands up, dont shoot?,” “Thou shalt not bear false witness?”
ha!
Somehow that stuff tends to get glossed over.
It took “hands up don’t shoot” a while to die, and there was a time of confusion, but die it did. Those dancing with it now are dancing with a zombie. These causes celebre had the whole honkin’ Frito Lay factory on their shoulders, not just a chip, and acted like it. God will forgive people who got in league with this, but they have to be willing to let God walk them away.
