Appropriate. Ed Schieffelin (Tombstone's "founder") had a couple of portraits taken in his prime that showed him holding a heavy-barreled Sharps rifle and the proverbial pistol(s).

I would love to take a stroll around Tombstone with my Uberti SAA in a hand tooled leather rig.
Sounds like fun.

Lived there and worked at Vogans Alley, The Grand Hotel (BNK’s) and The Longhorn - Interesting and fun place to live, especially if you like the outdoors. A ton of history around there and yes, no one looks funny at you with your Samuel Colt’s belted up and a Winchester over your shoulder

Proclamations are easy. What would make a much better statement would be to erect a city monument to the Second Amendment.
One in a prominent place where observation is frequent, against vandals. And decorous enough to become a photographed attraction.
My own preference would be to make it out of a very hard and durable rock, laser cut with both high relief and low relief.

Kennesaw, GA has a mandatory gun-possession statute. That’s pretty Second Amendment to me.
