The way state secession works is the entire state of CA leaves. Now if a group of counties wants to then leave the independent country of CA then do what is ever necessary to gain you independence form Sacramento. With this I cannot help you, nor can anyone in the USA. Do that first then petition the US congress for state hood.

This is a republic. Despite Lincolns best efforts to destroy that concept.

As long as you are still here explaining state secession
to me let me share some back story with you that may
or may not effect your perspective.

The liberal attempt to secede from the US is really a
temporary temper tantrum. Presidents come and go in
no longer than 8 year stretches. When Trump’s time is
gone they will have a chance to replace him with one
of their own. On the other hand the liberals who
invaded and took over California can keep control
for generations.

It is important to note that the effort of some
Northern Californians to split from the rest of the
state actually started in the early 1940s but
it was interrupted by WWII. The current effort to
form the state of Jefferson (yes, a Virginian)
was started a few years back before this current
libtard secession theater. The point here is that the
Jefferson statehood movement precedes the libtard’s
own effort so we depend on them for zilch. All we are
saying is if by chance they are serious then what they
do can also be useful to us.

You say that our split with the current configuration of
California is none of your business. Well, splitting
off to form a new state is one thing. The trick after
that is to be accepted into joining the US.
Resistance from blue states suggests we will need
support from friends.

Oh man, I really, really, really want a State of Jefferson. We here in Butte County and above are sick and tired to the heavy hand of Sacramento.

Astute. A photo of my GGF on the wall just over my desk tells me you are correct.
