San Andreas will facilitate secession someday. :)

“Once it’s explained to the left in California that leaving the US means that they will NEVER be able to rule over Texans and other Deplorables, they will cease their effort.”

The problem with your comment is that the Mexicans will be taking over Texas as well. I marvel at the cognitive dissonance of people like you in that you somehow have the twisted notion that Texas will never go the way of California when it’s happening right before your eyes. The picture is exactly the same! You have your major cities (Houston, Dallas, SA and Austin already safely run by RATS, Gay RATs or Black RATS). Tell us all just how they are fundamentally different than Los Angeles. And have you taken a look at your counties (two deep for the most part) along the Rio Grande? They are run by Mexicans with Mexican LEO’s. So enjoy the ride pal while it lasts, because the Mexican “immigrants” who swim the Rio Grande, where there can be no wall, are taking over your state working overtime every night procreating to “supplement” the influx from Mexico. If you doubt that comment, I suggest you visit the maternity ward at your local hospital and check out the coloration of the newborns. You already need an inland wall at the northern border of your border counties. NIMBY isn’t going to work for you either if you are stupid enough to ignore all the signs around you.

Since you don’t care then I won’t have to
tell you that 20 NorCal counties are banning together to
split from California in what will be the new
state of Jefferson. The goal is to get a new
state or give the rural counties more political
clout. If the liberals somehow managed to form
a new nation we would split off in a heartbeat
and become state #50. But you don’t care so I
won’t bother you with it.

Northern California would be even more invested in splitting off from Calif & becoming it’s own state.

The new state of Jefferson would likely have only GOP types. 2 more Senators, etc, in Congress that are red.

I just want to make it a easy as possible for CA to leave. The whole state. You guys can have your own internal struggles. Not my problem.

An independent Texas will no longer have its hands tied and will be able to control its own border and kick out illegals.

“An independent Texas will no longer have its hands tied and will be able to control its own border and kick out illegals.”

And you really think that Texas and California are both leaving the union? The problem in Texas is that the people who would make Texas independent, would not be able to control their liberal populations in their major cities either. Besides, when it comes right down to it, I am very doubtful that any secessions are going to happen in the first place.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The Texas legislature is conservative. It could pass border security laws that really work.

Partition an area with approximately a coastal range of hills as the eastern boundary, defining the San Francisco and Los Angeles urban areas as the northern and southern extent. Allow any less urban regions that reside in between to make their own choice.

San Diego region south of the Dana point to Coachella line is excluded from this partition. The region north of the Sacramento River and it’s outlet is excluded. The areas beyond the eastern hills boundary will sort out reformed State of California issues.

The seceded coastal area will decide on a new identity for themselves. Thereafter they will have to find a source of water to replace that which is no longer allocated from the inland basins within the continental United States (Pacific Ocean desalination a possibility).

“The Texas legislature is conservative. It could pass border security laws that really work.”

So if what you say is true, how is it that Austin, home of the legislature, is about as big a crap hole as is Houston? What if the “Mexican Counties” along the Rio Grande don’t want to stay a part of “The New Texas?” My point is that this entire country needs to pull together to rid itself of Liberalism/Marxism. This inane “idea” that states pull out is pure nonsense. The last election paves the way for serious, lasting change. Perhaps if Trump fails (words he doesn’t understand), then dissembling the country might be an option, but the notion that various states can somehow “isolate” themselves from the basic problem is laughable. And doing so only kicks the can down the road for the present and does nothing to fix the future.
If these kind of “thought processes” had existed during our Revolution, we would never have succeeded in founding this country, and it never ceases to amaze me that people now want to stick their heads in the sand and take the easy way out instead of standing and fighting.

and any major conflict would push most of the illegals back South across the border.

The wall needs to be built first along CA’s southern border. Then essentially after CA secedes and burns to the ground (less the already Northern and seceded red counties), they are “boxed” in at the Southern border. Should be fun to roll in on that festive situation (on Cinco DeMayo!)

I don’t want to leave the US. I want to take the
predominantly conservative and ignored north part of
the current state of California and possibly even
join with conservative counties in Southern Oregon
and form a new state. If “central_va” means what I
think it does then I think you should know exactly
what I am talking about.

If the libs are serious about their secession talk
then it will be all the more easier to accomplish
our goal provided the US is willing to allow them
to proceed. We NorCals are just as American as
you and everyone else.

Precisely. However, the Jefferson concept is not being
marketed that way. The fact is that the COUNTY of LA
is represented by no less than 11 state senators in the
state house while 20 Northern California counties are
represented by a total of 3 state senators. Even a
brain dead NorCal Dem’rat can see he is getting screwed.

Until 1964 the state legislature was organized like the
US Congress in that the state assembly was determined by
population while each county had 1 state senator. In it’s
infinite wisdom the Supreme Court ruled that one man,
one vote was to be the law of the states if not the
federal government. It does not make sense to me that
2 separate legislative houses are chosen the same way.
Why not just have 1 house? Or why not 3 or 4 houses?

If CA secedes then if parts of it want to secede again then that would be an internal affair of the country of CA. None of my business.

“None of my business.”

If adding a red state to the US is none of your business
then I would submit that the departure of a blue state
should also be none of your business. Yet here you are.
