Anyway, I find it interesting that this nonsense report has been out there but was used by CNN and BuzzFeed exactly at the same time that Trump was briefed.
And I find it interesting that the nonsense report was used after Trump criticized the CIA and after Schumer implied in a threatening manner that the CIA would punish Trump.
All of that would suggest to me that the IC attached the nonsense report to the briefing to give CNN cover to report on it.

Clapper spoke to Trump this evening about the briefing and the document. That doesn't mean that he didn't talk to Trump about both on Friday.
Clapper then went on to imply that the "document" is used to brief policymakers so that they are provided with the fullest possible picture of any matters that might affect national security.
Sounds like Trump was briefed on the document on Friday.

The whole thing is a fairy tale. A work of fiction. Anybody could have written it. And you are correct that the IC put this in a report somehow and leaked it so it became “breaking news”.
Look for Clapper, Comey and Brennan to be gone.
