The report SPECIFICALLY says Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen. How can tapper and the Government source say it was a different Cohen. That means they knew what they put in the report was false.
Lord have mercy, egg all over the faces of so many people on this one.
To be more specific, Trump would have to prove "malice."
Who does this surprise? The Republicans, for different reasons maybe, or maybe not, want the Affordable Care Act as badly as the Democrats want it.
Probably smart for him to get an attorney. The left is going to go after him. They need a fall guy as the left won’t take responsibility for their libel.

Once Obama leaves office I think you’ll start hearing some limited criticism of him from Democrats. How can his own party claim he was a success when Democrats lost over a thousand elected offices nationwide during his tenure? I think the media and all the Trump haters are doing everything they can to tarnish him before he takes office because once he does the American people will notice a stark difference between him and the previous president. People will notice things starting to get done under Trump that were left untouched for eight years. That scares the Trump haters for sure.

You make a lot of good points about the media and bureaucracies, but I think your remarks would exhibit more insight - and resonated more powerfully - if you refrained from using the label "liberals".
I think to a wider audience, the term liberal implies someone interested in using state power to achieve their concept of economic equity & social justice.
What the US is actually facing is a much graver threat than just differences of opinion as to domestic policy. Rather, this is truly a battle of globalists vs nationalists, with globalists interested in power for power's sake. (1984 isn't a warning, it's a field guide.)
Both the media and those who work within the federal government are long past harboring any trivial concerns for the common man. These are very active propaganda & internecine campaigns aimed at victory for their side (ie resumption of state power) and defeat of Trump.
Calling the people's enemies liberals does them the favor of reducing the actual threat to a cartoon character of some ridiculous snowflake, when in reality this is an existential struggle for the survival of the nation.

An ordinary man would make Obama look like a fool. Trump will (by contrast) make him look like a drooling child, and the media won't be able to cover up the fact that their imbecile has made such a mess of the world.
He would have to prove it to the malicious themselves, and they aren't going to accept any proof.
When they won't see the light, the need to feel the heat, as RWR observed.
