Get all of the illegals out of here and we probably wouldn’t need minimum wage laws.

Garments are yesterday’s industry. We prefer software and other high-tech.

As a person who lives in California, it’s amazing to watch the terrible decisions the leaders make.
You know they will cause havoc. About all you can do is shake your head.

The problem is none of them have an ounce of business sense
To: McGavin999
Agreed
They’ve driven so many businesses out of the state. Imagine the California GDP if we had good leadership.

The garment industry in New York and California have been decimated by the cheap crap out of Asia. Disposable, cheap clothes seems to be the name of the game lately. It’s really too bad, professional sewing is a great way for lots of people to earn a living.

Pretty soon the liberal elite will have to pay a staff of 2,000 illegals each just to keep from being strung up (picture Venezuela)

Leftists want the $15 minimum to be nationwide.

What good is a $15 per hour minimum wage when you can’t find a job?

From the ridiculousness that is marched down the runways, it should die.

How many garment-industry workers could learn to do “software and other high-tech”, even with YEARS of instruction?

So what you are saying is that the illegals may yet do us a solid? LOL
Just kidding. I get your point and it’s not all that outlandish considering.

Doing what feels good is more important than the negative consequences of their policies.
When you have good intent and that is your moral gauge, the harm is irrelevant or easily blamed on those who didn’t buy into your vision.

The solution seems obvious. The Dems in CA need only to pass a law which forbids any company from leaving the state.
Problem solved.
