Hollywood's utter contempt for President-Elect Donald Trump and Middle America was on full display during Sunday night’s Golden Globes.
A who’s who of Hollywood A-listers unleashed a torrent of hateful remarks directed not only at the president-elect, but also toward his supporters (the folks Hillary deemed as irredeemable deplorables). --SNIP-- In 2003, she gave convicted child molester Roman Polanski a standing ovation after he was awarded an Oscar at the Academy Awards. She saluted a child molester – a deviant who had sex with a 13-year-old girl after drugging her.

I can’t remark on the bones bit, but when I read rants such as she gave at the GGs I wonder if she has been hitting the sauce, or the little round ones or if she is in a deep depression and just taking her angst out on others. Very immature.
She’s not on my radar. The only movie I recall Streep being in was the one where she boiled the family rabbit.

FAllon had Trump on his show twice. He got big ratings. He let Fallon mess up his hair. It was all good natured fun.
I guess there’s no loyalty in Hollywood.
Although depressing in many ways, Deer Hunter was an awesome movie. And Streep was vastly overshadowed by the greatness of all the other actors in that movie. She was along for the ride, and countless other actresses could have played her role better.
Streep is still butthurt about going whole hog on supporting Illary in this election and getting burned. She hosted million dollar fundraisers with many of the donors in the GG audience. She was merely cleaning up old business with other fellow losers

I think everyone in that large expanse of country between the coastal North East and California, most of whom voted for Trump, should consider boycotting all movies made with actors bloviating their hatred against our duly elected officials. There are plenty of countries where they can go to live because, here in America, we will not take kindly to anarchy, no matter how rich or beautiful or handsome you are. As for Meryl Streep, it is a good thing she has her fortune made because not many of us will watch her movies now even if they are free with Netflix.
IIRC, she was working on the “Holocaust” mini-series at the time. Too bad James Woods couldn’t knock some sense into her.
