German politicians have raised concern about thousands of NATO troops and equipment, along with hundreds of tanks, that have been sent to Poland and countries bordering Russia in what has been touted by Washington as “defense against Russian aggression.”

“It does not help us if tanks will be going up and down on both sides of the border,” Brandenburg’s leader and SPD party member, Dietmar Woidke, told RBB. “I hope everyone will keep calm.”

Or better yet, how about a brand new EU army, under central command from Brussels?

Germans, of all people, should know that tanks to create peace. American Sherman tanks imposed peace on Germany and their follow-ons maintained peace in Germany and Europe for the rest of the century and beyond.

This is SPD quoted here. They tried to surrender the Cold War for nearly a century. Looks like they are still trying to surrender to the Kremlin. LOL.

On the way and you can thank Trump’s bromance with Putin for it. That was the best Christmas gift Merkel could have gotten.

EU states are being invaded (at the invitation of their corrupt govts) by Muslims, not by Russia. Muslims will destroy them, not Russia.

“You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war.

The very prevention of war requires more faith, courage and resolution than are needed to prepare for war. We must all do our share, that we may be equal to the task of peace.”

The SPD is the “complete socialist freaks” in Germany. And they can’t wait to drop their knickers and get in bed with Putin. Buy a clue, FRiend.

As a member of NATO, Germany is still required to spend 2% of its GDP on defense. No matter where the threat comes from.

Is Obama trying to create a nuclear confrontation for Trump to deal with?

Why would anyone be upset with this brilliant move aimed and at destroying the Russian impulse to interfere with american Elections?

To do so challanges the intelligence of important American politicians of both parties.

I mean really, what's more important than protecting our election process? Avoiding WW3? Hardly.

Why? Look to RT. It tweeted that George Soros and his Blackwater mercenaries want war with Russia because he wants to corner the mail order bride market.

It’s an insurance policy, that has paid off damn well.

Yep. Against the Germans shacking up with the Russians again. And maybe those two getting together the Chicoms. A Germany-Russia-China axis and suddenly the U.S. isn’t all that important.

It’s too bad our local armchair isolationists can’t seem to war game out the consequence of the US withrawing on the world stage.

Isn’t that the truth.

How has it worked having bases in South Korea, Japan, and Germany?

Seems to have worked very well thanks.

Between WWI and WWII there were about 20 years. It’s been about 70 since with no major global meltdown.

Some folks applaud the idea of the E.U. developing it’s own major military. I have predicted that it wouldn’t be a decade before we would be having serious problems with them over global policy.

Take one look at Europe now and imagine their military on the issue of Israel alone. I shudder to think...

In part yes, but we all had nukes when fighting in Vietnam and other places. We didn’t use them.

I wouldn’t discount the prevention of repeat land wars anywhere by having U.S. troops and thus the full backing of our nation on the scene.
