For the life of me, I simply cannot understand why so many people call her “such a good actress.” I struggle to remember any role she’s played that I would call ‘memorable’ and well acted.
I lived “Death Becomes Her”—a hilarious fantasy of plastic surgery, narcissism and cruelty. Wait...that wasn’t really acting, was it?
I just did a little research, and am pleased to discover that I have never seen ANY movie that this woman ever appeared in...not one. Not at the theater, not even ‘second hand’ on television. ‘Streep-free’...awesome.
