The Office of Government Ethics is raising alarm over the pace of confirmation hearings for President-elect Donald Trump's nominees, saying Saturday that they have yet to receive required financial disclosures for some picks set to come before Congress next week.
In a letter to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., released Saturday, OGE Director Walter Shaub wrote that "the announced hearing schedule for several nominees who have not completed the ethics review process is of great concern to me" and that the current schedule "has created undue pressure on OGE's staff and agency ethics officials to rush through these important reviews.

The past 8 years have proven to me beyond a reasonable doubt, and to a moral certainty, that there is no such thing as an Office of Government Ethics.
“On January 8, 2013, President Obama appointed Mr. Walter M. Shaub, Jr., as Director of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE). He was sworn into office January 9, 2013.”
From the time Mr. Shaub was appointed till he was sworn in was 24 hours.
You just need to understand the code. Like pig-latin, bureau speak is precisely backwards. Whatever the word seems to say, the meaning is the exact opposite.
In English, “Office of Government Ethics” means “Office of Government Malfeasance.”

Just a few days ago, Schumer said he’d do all he could to deliberately slow down all confirmations, specifically to make the transition difficult. The Office of Government Ethics should be looking into him for making that statement!!!

Why is the Director of the OGE writing to the Minority Party? If he has any issues, why doesn’t he address them to the people in charge?
