Debbie Reynolds was buried with some of Carrie Fisher’s ashes after a funeral service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Friday.
Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, her brother, Todd Fisher, and actor Taylor Lautner were in attendance for the burial. Todd was seen carrying his sister’s ashes in an urn shaped like a Prozac pill.
“Carrie’s favorite possession was a giant Prozac pill that she bought many years ago. A big pill,” Todd told Entertainment Tonight. “She loved it, and it was in her house, and Billie and I felt it was where she’d want to be.”
He added, “We couldn’t find anything appropriate. Carrie would like that. It was her favorite thing, and so that’s how you do it. And so they’re together, and they will be together here and in heaven, and we’re okay with that.”

Ugh! So young! So sorry to hear that. My heart goes out to you and your family. One thing I’ve heard about rehab is most fatal ODs occur right after the addict leaves because their system is clean and they tend to use the same amount they used before they went into rehab. At 22, he faced a lifelong uphill battle everyday of his life.
If so, maybe she shot up before the flight and her heart couldn’t take it. I don’t want to speculate too much, could’ve been just a worn out heart.

My nephew died suddenly of cardiac arrest at the age of 44. He had a drug problem but had been clean for several years. The autopsy showed that his heart had been damaged from his previous years of drug use.

No one can do anything traditional anymore. Weird and unpleasant, in my book.
So sorry for you loss.
Funerals are for the living. I can see non-traditional working for Fisher’s and Reynold’s mourners.

How does Todd know they’re in heaven?
Did they believe that Jesus The Resurrection The Way The Truth The Life paid the price for their sin as a substitutionary penalty?

Maybe. By a lot of accounts Todd is a devout Christian.
To each his own. This is when my traditional Catholic heritage kicks in.
