Intel report says US identifies go-betweens who gave emails to WikiLeaks

Washington (CNN)US intelligence has identified the go-betweens the Russians used to provide stolen emails to WikiLeaks, according to US officials familiar with the classified intelligence review that was presented to President Barack Obama on Thursday.

In a Fox News interview earlier this week, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange denied that Russia was the source of leaked Democratic emails that roiled the 2016 election to the detriment of President-elect Donald Trump's rival, Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Clinton generates events to support her narrative.

For example, Clinton’s accused Trump of creating an atmosphere of violence at his rallies. To support the narrative she paid people to instigate trouble at Trump rallies.

She has long had the narrative that Trump is connected with Russia. It began with accusations that Trump’s adviser Paul Manafort was tied to Russia, and that Trump too was tied to Russia.

That went nowhere. Now the narrative has advanced to Russia hacked the DNC. This claim is based on Dmitri Alperovitch and Crowdstrike.

Given Clinton’s pattern of generating events to support her narrative, are there connections between Alperovitch/Crowstrike and Clinton apart from the DNC’s hiring of Crowdstrike? Is this “outside expert” actually an insider?

The Center for American Progress (CAP) was started in 2003 by John Podesta, Bill Clinton's onetime Chief of Staff; Podesta led Obama’s presidential transition team after 2008 and was Hillary’s 2016 campaign manager. Podesta’s relationship with the Clintons goes back to 1970.

Since most people never read past the headline these days, this very important sentence in the third paragraph will be lost on many:

Officials reiterated that there is no single intercepted communication that qualifies as a "smoking gun" on Russia's intention to benefit Trump's candidacy or to claim credit for doing so.

Translation: THERE IS NO HARD PROOF that the Russians "hacked" or in any way influenced our elections, period.

Yet, most people will never read that far into the article to get that FACT.
