...shootings involving concealed carry permit holders — many of whom have extensive criminal recordsI would think that having "extensive criminal records" would preclude the issuing of concealed carry permits to those individuals. Perhaps the chief is just making stuff up as most anti-gun people do.

Since homicide is the killing of a human, even if justified, he is right. But this idiot wants to imply that lawful CCW permit holders are out looking for someone to kill.
