NY Times ^ | Jan. 3, 2017 | JULIE HIRSCHFELD DAVIS, CHARLIE SAVAGE and JENNIFER STEINHAUER

That didn’t take long.

Before the new members could even be sworn in, Senate Republicans revealed the parliamentary language that congressional Republicans will use to dismantle Mr. Obama’s signature domestic achievement, the Affordable Care Act, without fear of a filibuster by Democrats in the coming months.

Since it was deemed passed, simply deem it not passed.

Mr Trum..., President Trump you lied to me. You said I’d get tried of winning, but I’m still not tried of winning!

Last paragraph of the Times piece requires a response:

"Left unsaid: What will happen to more than 20 million Americans now insured under the Affordable Care Act, or to the 27 percent of Americans with pre-existing medical conditions who, under the health care act, cannot be denied coverage by insurance companies?"

1. Most of them already had insurance they liked before... things will slowly begin reverting to the pre-ACA plan (though probably still not at the original rates, of course - Obama's legacy 'gift').

2. For those that didn't have coverage before, they will either (a) find that they may actually be able to afford coverage in the marketplace now, or (b) go without, which was their choice to begin with.

3. Allegedly, all of that 27% with pre-existing conditions now have coverage, so the concern troll question doesn't even apply.

YES!!! This is what the moribund GOP has been missing since Reagan’s first term. Advice to Republicans: Get with Pres. Trump’s program and DRAIN THE SWAMP or you will be replaced by someone who will.

Love it!

NYT all worried about Obama’s legacy.

He’ll have one: Futility.

It would be sweet if Congress could pass it and have it awaiting his signature so that as soon as traitor Roberts swears him in, an aid can present the repeal bill to President Trump o sign in front of his face.

"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. So help me God."

Applause.

President Trump waves to the crowd during the applause and then signs the repeal.

"I just kept my promise to repeal Obamacare. Over the next few months, the Executive Branch will follow existing legislation to build the wall and enforce immigration law, and we will negotiate with the democrats on any potential replacement for Obamacare.

That would be glorious!

The NY Slimes, ABCNNBCBS, compost, La Slimes and Never Trumpsters are having a rough 2017. It will get better for us and worse for them as each new day has more good news for us.

“achievement”

Achievement!?

The only way one could look at 0bamacare as an “achievement,” is that everyone is working two part-time jobs with little actual health care. If any at all.

The NYT is still 0bama’s cheerleader.

Hopefully this will comfort those on FR wringing their hands about the fake news stories saying that the GOP wasn’t going to end Obamacare.
