Megyn Kelly, who arrived at Fox News 12 years ago as a television news neophyte but rose to become one of its two biggest stars, has decided to leave the network to take on a broad new role at NBC News for an undisclosed amount, people briefed on the negotiations said on Tuesday.
The NBC News chairman, Andrew Lack, wooed Ms. Kelly away from Fox News by offering her a triple role in which she will host her own daytime news and discussion program, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show and take regular part in the network’s special political programming and other big-event coverage.
The move will herald a seismic shift in the cable news landscape, where Ms. Kelly had become the second-most watched host — after Bill O’Reilly of Fox News — and often helped define the national political debate, especially over the last year as Donald J. Trump regularly attacked her, at times in viciously personal terms.

Well in a sense she did, when challenged if she could prove any one of them was true, she said the stories had to be covered whether they could be proved or not. That was the day Newt took her to task for calling Trump a pervert., and refusing to say Clinton was.

Dream on FOX will continue to move left, the Murdoch kids are much more liberal than Dad and he hated Trump.
Move Tucker to 9pm and put a real investigating reporter like Atkinson at 7

Replace her with Trish Reagan. She is smart and beautiful.
Tomi - or her peplacement Liz Wheeler at One America would both be excellent. Bring Graham Ledger over too and kick out Oreilly.
Regardless of her dustup with Trump, going to NBC is a career dead end. It won’t be obvious for a couple years, but I think she made a big mistake.

I saw that one; that was an excellent point by Newt. That applies to the entire MSM.
Second victory got annoyed Fox Viewers, starting with getting Tucker.
I’d have to have all three of them for a long weekend to determine the best replacement.

Good riddance. At least now she can be her true snarky self, without having to pretend to be unbiased. Won’t miss her in the least.
Looked for an article on this Megan Kelly story but could not find it. FR search does not always work for me. Any tips on using the search function at FR would be appreciated.
Taking bets on how long it’ll take her to pull a “Katie Couric” and crash and burn. Trump is a gift that keeps on giving!
Her career really is like a Kurd swirling the toilet as it’s being flushed!
