Conservatives see things as they are, leftists and libs demand things be the way they want them; regardless.

Liberals are nuts. They will go through contortions declaring the gospel or Darwin and evolution as non-debateable. We are all just dumb animals and a virus on the earth. BUT, when it comes to genders, races, ethnicities, and human nature they go through their contortions to tell us we are all exactly the same and any differences between us are all some kind of sinister social construct.

In a nutshell, the liberal view of sociology, and science itself, is one of “Lysenkoism.”
Trofim Lysenko was a pseudo-scientist in Stalin’s Soviet Union. Pretending to be a geneticist, he rejected existing genetic theory for crackpot theories that were much more interesting to communists, because they meshed well with that philosophy.
His ideas were that all life could be “trained” to do what is better for the state. It might take many generations, but plants, animals, and people, could be forced into the mold of socialist-communism.
Many of those real scientists who said he was preaching claptrap were demoted, even arrested and killed, their research destroyed, their families impoverished.
Today, western liberals still religiously believe in very bad ideas about people and things. For example, they strongly assert that human conventions about sex, marriage, family and child rearing have no functional basis, but are just “social contrivances”. And they utterly reject all evidence to the contrary.
And they don’t care how many people are hurt in their efforts to prove it. We can see what terrible harm has been caused by their philosophy.
“Free Love”, that everything from masturbation to multiple sex partners, homosexuality and bisexuality, pedophilism, beastiality, sado-masochism, etc., ad nauseum, are all “healthy and good”, despite things like venereal diseases, unplanned pregnancy, HIV and hepatitis, prostitution, you name it.
How many people have been deeply harmed or even killed by these fantasies?
Even Man Made Global Warming is part of their Lysenkoism.
In the final analysis, everything they want and try to bring about fails, fails miserably, and hurts many people in the process. This is the price of their disdain for science, their rejection of reality, their scorn and contempt for those who are smarter, better, wiser and happier than they could ever be.
When you are trying to win the votes of women, you will bend reality to suit your needs.
Women are over 50% of the voters. Thus, bending reality to woo them, is more important than reality itself.
Likewise, blacks were won over by appeasing their difference, and making sure that republicans were branded as their enemies.
Same with Hispanics, where being illegal into the country had to be changed from being a real issue, was turned into a racist issue to send them back where they came from.
Democrats thought that, using creating victims out of “minorities” was a winning formula. That winning formula demanded that reality be branded as the enemy.

True, but we live in such a rich society that it shields most from the consequences of their follies. That includes the rich, who can buy their way out of problems, and poor, who expect taxpayers to bail them out, when they have made poor decisions.
