I’ve got a couple friends that could not be more political opposite than me. We have been best friends for years. One is a Bernie supporter the other actually likes Hillary Clinton (okay, he’s a total idiot).
All of us would drop what we are doing in an instant if we got a call one of us needed help. And we have really heated political conversations.
It is dangerous what this guy is saying. Look in history and see the horrible things that have come as a result of “I can’t be friends with you because your support the other candidate.” Really horrible, terrible things.

Glad to see I’m not the only FReeper who caught this. And I will freely say I cut ties with a seriously hardcore Dumbocrat or two, but they were the kind who are driven truly insane by their ideology. That mantra is a VERY dangerous precedent if it becomes too embedded in how we live.
