Don’t underestimate Olive Stone. Until he produced “Born on the Fourth of July”, people with no contact with the military had no clue about the hell so many Veterans face, because of the despicable behavior of the gov. He dropped out of Yale and enlisted for Viet Nam. It made him very cynical about the intentions of the war machine. About the same age as DJT, at Yale when Kerry and GWB were, just might be more deplorable than we’d stereotype him.

He was also directed World Trade Center (2006), that 9/11 movie with Nicholas Cage about the two Port Authority officers trapped under the rubble. It was really good, nothing negative about America in it. I mean, it totally avoided anything about the attackers and Islam, but that wasn't the point of the movie.
