It was never a full democracy to begin with. The professor should consult the books and read what our nation is - a Constitutional Republic.
Good. Democrats can all leave the state, then. Leave the office furniture here, please.
The WSJ had a piece on this “study” yesterday (or the day before - the papers get mixed up) giving a list of one-party dictatorships that are more “democratic” than North Carolina.
A taxpayer-funded political science professor, nuff sed, pull his money plug! This is a republic
Can you believe that this idiot teaches political science at the university level? He doesn’t even understand the subject or our governmental system.
Oh, bless his heart, he just can’t stand our WINNING!!
The Democrats just won the governorship! One of only 18 Dem govs in the country and probably the only one south of Virginia and east of California except for Louisiana.
Looks like political science majors at this university are getting crap for lessons....this “professor” is too stupid to teach his area of specialization....
Uhm, it never was one to begin with.
“..and to the Democracy for which it stands”? I must have missed the change to the Pledge...
In California this year there were only two candidates on the ballot for US Senate. A socialist democrat and a communist democrat. The communist democrat won.
Snowflake melting in N.C.?
Transport to cooler climate, snowflake.
Madness! Let’s have this fellow arrested!
Oh damn, it’s not actually like Cuba at all, is it...

That asshole should try living in Massachusetts
This guy is blind to large monoparty ‘rat urban utopias and the many Peoples’ Republics centered on a large university.
He should move to a state like Hawaii where it is the other way around. Democrats control everything.
I guess then it would be a democracy for him.
Winner takes all is the very definition of a Democracy. Note that H->! did NOT win a majority of the Popular Vote.
Well, having moved to Oregon from Cali, I think this is correct.
At least I still have gun rights in Oregon. But my vote does not count for much.
Hey, professor Dumb@ss....was it ever created as a democracy in the first place? Moron.
