On the other hand, the prosecutor now has no leverage on the teen prostitute to convince her to testify against the adults in exchange for probation.
Back on Dec. 19, an Uber driver here in Michigan attacked and stabbed a passenger who allegedly "disrespected" his car. The passenger was a close friend's nephew and although stabbed multiple times he was able to subdue the driver till police arrived.
The nephew's wounds were treated and he was released from the hospital the following morning.
The driver picked the wrong target, my friend's nephew is a rugby player and about the size of my friend - large and strong.
I would have tried to keep my name out of the media.
It almost looks as if he went along for the ride. The media may have outed him with no regard though.
Sorry to hear that, but I am glad your guy was able to bring this guy to justice.

Are used to watch a show on The Learning Channel, or maybe the Discovery Channel. It was about people trying to rescue prostitutes.
I think it was called something like 8 minutes? That’s how much time they had to save these women.
It had a pastor, and 2 former prostitutes.
Some agreed to get help, but others just couldn’t leave the life.
I just watched a program about prostitution, a prostitute interviewed said that the pimp knew her family and where she lived so she feared for her family.
I believe that.
Most caring people want to protect their family at whatever cost.
