CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) -- John Schenck, the co-founder of the Gay Pride Parade of Conway, has died. Schenck's husband and partner of nearly 41 years, Robert Loyd, died, from a heart attack last December.
Schenck and Loyd moved to Arkansas in 1978 to care for Loyd's mother, who lived in Damascus. Loyd, who worked as a hairdresser in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Schneck eventually opened a salon on the outside of town. They named the gas station-turned-salon The Lion's Den. It proved so successful, they expanded to Greers Ferry and Heber Springs.
In 1986, Schenck and Loyd moved to Conway. The couple purchased a large Victorian house, eyeing it as a location for another salon.

I think having a partner for 41 years means something. I know gay couples who have been together for years, they are conservative and I love them. I don’t judge people by their race, religion or who they sleep with. I judge them by their deeds and their character. I hope I am not in the minority on FreeRepublic.

The Loyd person was 66. I searched for his obituary and found a Wikipedia page instead. Loyd was the son of a German woman and an American man. He was a Vietnam veteran. He became a hairdresser after he returned from Vietnam. That’s how he met the Schenck character.
Again, men do not have husbands. Men have wives. Women have husbands. How difficult is that to comprehend? Just because one rump ranger says another rump ranger is his “husband” does not male it so.

Although it is a little odd if you look at the article, besides the atrocious grammar, the picture of a young boy, perhaps four years of age, sitting on a blanket outdoors with a caption about the gay pride parade.
you have to wonder what their first thoughts are when they all of a sudden realize they are in hell and were so wrong about everything- When it dawns on them that they lived a vicious lie and ended up having to spend eternity in hell-
mama probably died of cardiac arrest too when introduced to her new son in law.

Can the article make it seem life could possibly get better? These guys were living proof that some people do everything right, make themselves indispensable in the community (ragingly successful hair salons called Lion’s Den) and are role models for the unwashed, unclean, traditional masses.
