The United States on Thursday expelled 35 Russian diplomats and closed two Russian compounds in New York and Maryland in response to a campaign of harassment by Russia against American diplomats in Moscow, a senior U.S. official said on Thursday.

The U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters the Russian diplomats would be given 72 hours to leave the United States. Access to the two compounds will be denied to all Russian officials as of noon on Friday, the official added.

"These actions were taken to respond to Russian harassment of American diplomats and actions by the diplomats that we have assessed to be not consistent with diplomatic practice," the official told Reuters.

I’m pro-American, not pro-Putin. I don’t want any foreign powers hacking our computer networks or beating up our diplomats. This subject is about right and wrong. A conservative should want the rule of law, not the rule of Putin’s whims.

When Putin collides with Trump, I hope you choose America and Trump over Putin.

Mmmm... Say, your English has really improved since you chose your screen name.

Their soldiers were Russian patriots to their mind despite the Marxist BS.

Like I said, the world has gone mad. That supposedly conservative members of a supposedly conservative website could so quickly forget the Empire of Evil ... and mistake its enforcers for "Russian patriots" is proof.

If the US diplomat was not doing something wrong, why the blonde wig. Trying to recruit spies could have gotten him executed. Taking him down and expelling him was deserved. Obama sucks in his judgments.

Just hating Russia or Putin does not justify Obama’s actions or make the Russians wrong to kick the frat boy out.

This has nothing to do with Russia or Putin, and it has everything to do with Trump. If you read the article, it sounds like theres lots of support for this in the CONgress.

I believe there were Russian hacking operations going on. I believe Putin preferred Trump. I don’t believe he swung the election. Nonetheless, I believe it’s not a good precedent for a hostile foreign power to hack US networks, especially for political reasons...

You believe?

For the purpose of this rant, I'm going to ignore they fact that no hard evidence has been shown to prove any foreign hacking to sway an election. With that said:

I work as a software engineer and sysadmin. Here's what I can tell you: Attempted "hacking" by systems outside of this country happen millions of times 24 hours a day. Our government as well as the private sector does the same. Most are not successful But going by what you said (the Russians preferred Trump), then why not give money to his campaign like other candidate? In fact, why did I see the names of Russian folks on the Clinton Foundation list?

Listen to what is being pedaled to you and think back. The government/media complex is staying that information they REFUSED to air during the campaign was the reason a certain candidate didn't win the election. Or better yet, if Clinton won the election, do you think there would be any reports of Russian hacking?

Side Note: Going mostly unreported is the fact that Russia and Turkey (so-called NATO ally) just inked a peace deal in Syria. TRANSLATION: ISIS defeated. What's the response from the U.S on that same day? ANS: Throw the diplomats out of the country. Doesn't anyone think that's a bit odd?

If there were hacks to affect the election, the Clinton team had PLENTY of time to deny the reports, and even more time to make sure their data was secure.

So don't fall for this. There were stories about the possibly of hacking early; even during the primaries. The RNC took precautions (we're talking standard, out of the box measures). The DNC didn't. Remember folks getting demoted and fired over it? Now, they are trying to blame someone else for their own incompetence.

and finally, the primary question: Did the wiki leaks emails cause you to go out and vote for Trump? Did any Russian make any American voter go into the voting booth and pull a level? If your answer to any of those questions are 'yes', then you have a case.

If not, pray that this fool in Hawaii doesn't try to start World War IV before he leaves office.

...World War III began on the morning of September 11, 2001

Sadly with all the muslim brotherhood in Homeland Security and most of Obama’s administration it is hard to accept what they say is true.

I believe that Trump and Putin will work together to solve many problems that the left hates. The desire is to make Putin look like a total criminal hack and then Trump will be guilty by association when he begins to work with him.
