DC private schools giving Kellyanne Conway the brush-off
NY Post ^ | December 28, 2016 | Richard Johnson

Kellyanne Conway is worried establishment elites in Washington, DC, are so prejudiced against President-elect Donald Trump that she won’t be able to get her kids into private school in the nation’s capital.

Conway divulged her fears to other parents at the Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood, NJ, on Thursday night, when her twins, George and Claudia, performed a concert with other students. Alicia Keys was also there to hear her goddaughter perform.

Conway, who was Trump’s campaign manager, is moving to DC to be counselor to the president. Her husband, George, happens to be the lawyer who wrote the Supreme Court brief when Paula Jones sued Bill Clinton for sexual harassment.

The mother of four had experienced some good-natured razzing from the left-leaning parents at Elisabeth Morrow.

“But after the concert, all the parents converged on Kellyanne, congratulating and sucking up to her,” said one source. “Kellyanne is asking everyone with connections to DC schools for help.”

The “elites” are all the same people, regardless of the political party with which they affiliate.

Don’t forget that you have to give every kid/celebrity a trophy (unless they are a Republican then they can be blacklisted and that blacklisting is celebrated).

THEY are the ones who are tightening and twisting the spring more and more and when it finally snaps back THEY are the ones who will feel it, not us.

We (our representatives, that is) need to set the example by having our kids either attend public schools, with the attendant security that it entails disrupting everything, or commit to homeschooling. Or how about the new administration folks teaming up to buy an existing charter school? The city would never issue a new charter to such a group, or they’d take several years to do so, but they couldn’t revoke an existing charter!

Then to rub salt in the liberal wounds, they could invite kids from the neighborhood who have stable families stuck there to attend. A little diversity and opportunity.

Private Schools don’t want bad publicity. The big shots send their kids to them to avoid public school hellholes and it calls attention to their hypocrisy. I doubt they refuse Kellyanne. She is sharp enough I bet her comment contains an implicit warning.

Libs practice skin-deep diversity and have zero tolerance for any diversity of thought.

I predict in the next two weeks she’ll have schools calling and begging for her kids.

***************

Agree in that the schools don’t want the hassel or publicity. This story more than likely
helps her find potential schools willing to help.

Adding to your excellent idea: Hire the best teachers Hillsdale has to offer to teach the group of kids.

I think the story is just sensationalized assumptions. There are far greater number of private schools ready and able to take her kids in then they let on.

I’d hire a Conservative private tutor, would be cheaper in the long run. A school room can be set up in one of the many offices in the WH for that. Give the private lib schools the finger. Making a statement that the education of our child is more important than you libtard school is in brainwashing him.

When I lived in Hawaii there was a similar (not matching) situation. The public school system sucked so badly that the teachers sent their own kids to private schools. Even if they tried to improve the public schools, the system was rotten at the top. Not sure how it is now.

No, Zero/HRC minions really ARE salting the earth as they’re forced to flee. I say payback is in order: identify the 50K+ families who are being forced out of DC, call them daily to ask about buying their houses, assume their gym memberships, etc. Rub it in right back.

A local DC education blog I follow has been discussing this. There are several well respected Catholic schools that would be honored to welcome her family. She is a practicing Catholic, right?

I like the buy a charter school (or private school) and hire teachers who are bound by contract to teach Constitutional, traditional Judeo-Christian values along with true history, actual mathematics, proper English and other optional languages. Kind of like the education that was widely taught in America before LBJ started the destruction of America with his Great Society.

A school room can be set up in one of the many offices in the WH for that.

Better yet, clear out an entire floor of the Dept. of Education when common core bureaucrats are transferred to the post office.

Then bid out for conservative teachers/tutors to provide education to children of DC workers that would drop their kids off incident to their commute.

“The tuition there for a child from first grade up is more than $33,000/year.”

33K a year? Wow, that’s more than what 1/2 the country is living on, No??
