Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.), a ranking member on the House Financial Services Committee, said on Monday that she refuses to sit down with President-elect Donald Trump to find common ground on policy differences.

MSNBC host Jacob Soboroff asked Waters whether she agreed with incoming Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D., N.Y.) strategy of working with the Trump administration on areas they can find agreement.

“No, absolutely. I do not agree. I tell you that been a problem in my party that when we are in power, we are nice. We bend over backwards to work with people,” Waters said. “Trump has stepped on everybody. He has no respect for his own colleagues, let alone those on the opposite side of the aisle.”

One of her quotes:

“Guess what this liberal would be all about? This liberal would be about socializing … uh, umm. … Would be about, basically, taking over, and the government running all of your companies.”

IQ of a bag of hammers.

There is no common ground with fringe lunatic liberals. They even breathe methane.

"If you don't agree with everything that I say, then you're WRONG!"

When I was about six, I gave up on covering my ears and yelling "Neener Neener" whenever people were telling me things I didn't want to hear. Some people take a little longer, I guess.

Good. There’s not a damn thing she could add to any discussion. She thought the Apollo astronauts planted the flag on Mars, for Pete’s sake.

Patriots need to get both Trump and Walters up to speed about federal taxes and banking from the prospective of the Founding States.

First, Thomas Jefferson had noted that the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had considered giving Congress the power to regulate INTRAstate banking, but had decided not to grant Congress such powers.

“A proposition was made to them to authorize Congress to open canals, and an amendatory one to empower them to incorporate. But the whole was rejected, and one of the reasons for rejection urged in debate was, that then they would have a power to erect a bank, which would render the great cities, where there were prejudices and jealousies on the subject, adverse to the reception of the Constitution [emphasis added].” —Jefferson’s Opinion on the Constitutionality of a National Bank : 1791.

In fact, not only have the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate intrastate banking, but using wide language, a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had appropriately clarified that powers not constitutionally delegated to the feds are prohibited to the feds.

”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.

State sovereignty-respecting justices had also clarified that Congress is prohibited from appropriating taxes in the name of state power issues.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Patriots need to support Trump in draining the swamp on these issues, in this example by peacefully “forcing” the feds to surrender state banking and financial powers that the House Committee on Financial Services has stolen from the states back to the states.

When you realize people like Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, Sheila Jackson Lee are elected by people in their respective districts you should reconsider your vacation plans to visit their ‘hood.

>Democrats like her continue to behave badly. Don’t they understand that they are going to be without power for at least two years

I think they absolutely understand. For them to get back in power, Trump has to fail. If he enacts his policies, everyone prospers, so they must be blocked at every turn, 100%. All they need is the continued spinelessness of the Republicans, and they get what they want. Then they can run on a platform of “look what Trump promised and couldn’t deliver. We told you he was incapable. He cannot work with congress. We have gridlock. He could get nothing done. Vote for us and we’ll ‘get things done’ for you!”

Waters is a typical California black idiot. I doubt she can even understand English to be able to understand Trump anyway. Very typical California Democrat and perfectly describes where California is now, in the dump.

What you mean is that they are banking on him failing and being seem as a failure. My prayers are that he will outsmart them all.
