He is given screen time for one purpose only, and that is to mine him for damaging quotes to be used against Trump or other Republicans.

Gingrich did an excellent job here. He knows the system well. He knows how it can be changed. He is a close ally of soon-to-be president Trump. I listen to what he says quite closely.

I already know what Gingrich is. I have no need to expose myself to his latest manipulative press event.
He only says stuff you like in order to insinuate himself into the fold so he can later plunge in the knife at a critical moment.
Gingrich has always been that person, and always will be that person.

We all know what Newt is. He is off off the wall genius combined with off the wall nutty. You just need to filter what he says, keep the good stuff, and put the nutty stuff into the more nutty Newtisms bin.

Newt was on the Trump Train to try and make himself VP, and when that failed, Chief of Staff. (See Keyword: NewtWantsTheVP for various attempts at it.)
Newt has sold us down the river so many times in exchange for a smile from a news reporter (or Nancy Pelosi), that anyone who is not treating him as an enemy is a gullible fool destined for a backstab.

Newt Gingrich is criminally insane. Until people wrap their minds around him being, at his core, a globalist con man, he will continue to have opportunity to provide just the quotes that CNN, NYT, WaPo, etc. want to hear out of him.
You are such a Newt hater you do not even read the article. You just go on an anti-Newt diatribe as soon as you see Newts name. Everyone has their pluses and minuses. I would say Newt in 95% plus and 5% minus. When Newt is on his game their are few better if any. GO NEWT GO
Good interview. I'm glad the poster posted it.
I would rather hear Gingrich’s reflections on any subject than be drowned in anti-Trump garbage from 99% of available media coverage. I like his analyses and although I might occasionally disagree with him, on the whole there is much to learn from someone who knows far more about the inner workings of Washington than a dozen anti-Gingrich idiots know.
He can make mistakes, but he is generally absolutely correct.
Gingrich is a man who has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he will do anything and say anything for money.

Yes I have seen it before. So what! Some of my friends also believe(d) in global warming until their eyes were opened to the propaganda of the new world order. One or two are still doubtful but I continue to educate them.
To throw Newt Gingrich in the garbage can over this little tape shows how shallow and thin thinking you are. I imagine you probably blamed Cheney too for shooting the lawyer when, in fact, it was the lawyer’s fault he got shot.
I guess I’m on the side that actually likes Newt.
