Fox News host Tucker Carlson embarrassed Teen Vogue writer Lauren Duca Friday night after she defended the man who harassed Ivanka Trump on a JetBlue flight the day before.
After Ivanka was harassed, Duca said on Twitter that “Ivanka Trump is poised to become the most powerful woman in the world. Don’t let her off the hook because she looks like she smells good.”
“What are the venues where you shouldn’t scream your political views at people, would a funeral be out-of-bounds, church, her son’s brisk, like what are the rules on that?” the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host and Daily Caller founder asked.“Yeah, well, what I think is a nonpartisan issue is that air travel is horrific and I don’t think anybody should be enduring confrontations in the air, be it Ivanka Trump with her children or any other human being in a tin can and feeling dehydrated,” Duca said, attempting to walk back her defense of the harassment.
“At the same time, she does have an incredibly powerful position and she’s not just a mother she is a powerful woman who is connected very closely to the president-elect not just as his daughter but in many ways as his business confidant and adviser and I think we haven’t quite been able to define what those roles mean,” Duca continued. “So, while I don’t want anyone being yelled at on a plane, I don’t want anyone yelling at me on a plane, I don’t want to yell at anyone on a plane but I think Ivanka’s incredibly compelling brand and presence and role as a mother and successful woman, those are interesting and attractive and interesting aspects of her brand.”
“But wait a second, that’s not at all what your tweet suggested,” Carlson said, later noting another tweet in which Duca said that “Ivanka HAS IT ALL, [and] by that I mean, ‘a job, family [and] sinister complicity in aiding the most aggressively anti-woman candidate of our time.'”
“Sinister complicity, what does that mean? She’s his daughter,” Carlson asked.
“She was a surrogate frequently throughout, she did interviews, she did speeches on his behalf, where she represented a platform of women’s empowerment,” Duca answered, later adding that people shouldn’t be “blinded by the fact that she looks like she smells like vanilla.”
“She looks like she smells like vanilla?” Carlson asked. “I mean, who’s objectifying women here?”
Carlson then called Duca out for a tweet in which she wrote, “eat shit [Donald Trump].” Duca denied that she ever wrote the tweet but TheDC saved a screenshot of it.
Carlson went on to press Duca on a claim she made that Trump was “threatening the sovereignty of an entire religion.” “What does that even mean?” Carlson asked.
“That means an entire agenda, a platform based on banning Muslims which is still available on his website,” Duca answered. “How does that threaten the sovereignty of religion?That’s moronic, Lauren, you’re a writer, how does that threaten the sovereignty of it? Pardon me for taking your words literally,” Carlson shot back.
Carlson also poked fun at Duca for an article she wrote about Ariana Grande’s “Most Epic Thigh-High Boots.” Duca did not appreciate the humor, later saying, “You’re a sexist pig” after Carlson told her to stick to writing about thigh-high boots.

Oh, no. I think you're on to something here. I suspect your garden-variety feminist hates Ivanka more than the Donald. And you know why: Beautiful. Successful. Powerful. We all know how catty some of these leftist females get.
Heck yes, if the Donald is a successful President for say 8 years, who do you think they'd be grooming to run in 2024? Think her name wouldn't be near the top of the list?
With that said, I still wonder why they were on a coach flight. The plane incident shows what kinds of nutcases are out there, and you know there's a few that would love to harm Trump physically in any way. Face it: Ivanka is part of the Trump brand; to the point where no one needs to mention her last name. She's a one word Google search. She deserves and should demand SS protection

Ivanka was doing her part to reduce her family’s carbon footprint. Taking mass transit to Frisco befôre boarding a private jet to Hawai’i. Secret Service was there but she did want them involved.

I love this man.
Watched the interview. I doubt she has enough brain cells to even realize what Tucker did to her liberal attempts at argumentation. At the beginning, she tried the usual "Oh, honey..." condescending lead-ins to her pat responses, but when that didn't work, she just began talking over Tucker (then accused him of talking over HER). Her expressions, with their flashes of anger, showed nothing but contempt for a man who DARED to challenge her. It's too bad the show didn't broadcast her final “You’re a sexist pig” broadside. You can tell from her face that's what she was thinking at the end.
I'm guessing she left the interview and told her Teen Vogue friends "I really showed HIM up, didn't I?"
I'm thinking maybe in a hundred years people will finally get that stuff on the webs is forever. Or, not.

I honestly could not understand what she was saying, it was a jumble of big words, and liberal speak, which quickly morphed into a defensive spew of hatred. When Tucker suggested she stick with thigh high boots, her eyes turned into massive large discs.
