Bristol has stepped up police presence in the city centre to combat potential Islamophobia in the wake of the Berlin terror attack.
At least 12 were killed and many more injured, more than a dozen critically, when a truck was driven into crowds of people at a Christmas market in the German capital. Islamic State have claimed responsibility for the act of terror, with police chiefs warning that the country can expect “further significant attacks”

And how is police presence going to stop these attacks?
You can't stop every attack - you don't know when or where they're going to strike. You have to remove the attackers from your country!

I think everyone is misunderstanding this, the Police are there to Protect the Jihadi’s terrorist Acts from the evil peaceful citizens who have an unrealistic desire to stay alive.

After the numerous recent bear attacks, park authorities are stepping up the efforts to ensure that park visitors are not carrying guns as a backlash against the bears. The rangers at this time have no plans to limit the roaming of the bears or monitor their activities.
Somehow, Islamophobia doesn't seem like the right word here. As written, I wonder how these patrols prevent fear of Muslims.

I always wonder what the loved ones of the terror victims feel like when they read this nonsense; they must really see how their governments have nothing but contempt for them...
These people in charge over there are freely elected by the citizens via a legitimate democratic process. This is what they wanted.

Eastern Europe knows the story as does Australia, Israel, PARTS of England, and now the US.
W. European leaders, like our monster, were elected. That means a majority of the people wanted them and they got them.
Hopefully the right will start winning, which I think is already happening to some extent in W Europe
Any repeat visits to the “EU” (pronounced ewwwwww) are off the list. Used to be fun 25 years ago, but not so much anymore. I liked it a lot better before the consolidation.

We've made two trips to Italy and would like to go back again - but there's no way I will set foot in that country now. Or anywhere else in Europe for that matter.
It's bad enough I have to run around my own country in constant condition "orange" (my own blend).
