The truth is that he was a third rate comedian and an almost C-List bit part actor who must have fellated some HBO executive to get his show. He reminds me of the left’s version of Joe Pine for all you old timers out there.
There really isn’t anything there with this creep and he knows it and he realizes now that his support structure isn’t there anymore. His ‘hiatus’ will eventually turn into cancellation or discontinuance on ‘mutually agreeable’ terms with HBO.

Somehow I was exposed to a few minutes of this guy on Jimmy Fallon about a week before the election. He wasn’t bashing Trump, but offering an apologia for Hillary Clinton. It was nauseating to watch to say the least. In a normal world it would be difficult to believe someone could be so deranged to blatantly disregard facts the way Maher did.
But I guess that just goes with being a communist agit/prop mouthpiece.
