Politico Fires Ioffe for Vulgar Tweet About Trump Family; He’s ‘F***ing His Daughter or Shirking’ Laws
Late Wednesday afternoon, Politico fired, “effective immediately,” foreign policy contributor Julia Ioffe for a vulgar tweet suggesting that President-elect Donald Trump may be committing incest with daughter Ivanka. It came in light of reports the Trump daughter would occupy the First Lady’s office in her father’s White House, which Trump spokesmen denied.
The decision came just prior to her official departure to The Atlantic. Ioffe has since repeatedly apologized for her offensive statement and deleted the tweet in question, which can be found below:

Right around the time of the Politico e-mail, Ioffe hinted that her firing was akin to what occurs under authoritarian regimes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~She's going to be hired by The Atlantic!

No Ioffe, the firing came around the time you tweeted deplorable things Trump and his daughter. You are another low life,angry leftist who are only tolerant of their own beliefs. There’s no punishment here. She was about to start with a new employer who, from what we have seen so far, is not the least bit offended or rescinded their employment offer. Until The Atlantic disciplines her, there’s no consequences here.

I think that I have read that the incoming Trump Administration has already stated that ‘The Atlantic’ magazine will not have access to the White House Press Facilities due to Ms Ioffe. I hope that remains the case.
